Well, it wouldn't be something I can't pay for. Plus it's really the only way to get credit without going through some long process. Would probably be around a $600-$800 loan.

alot of metal, small engine, decent travel.
caged, camburg long travel, 50t leafpack (soon to be installed) light rack over cab, 5pt harnesses etc
just get a credit card and put your gas only on it and just pay that off. a decent way to build credit too

Hey man i like the truck. sorry to see what happened to it but at least your getting in back together! The KC lights look bad ass on your truck which is what made me start looking at your build. Ive been thinking about getting those also but im not sure how it would look on mine. Keep up the good work!

Thanks! You should make/get a roof rack with some light tabs on the front for some KC's. I think roof racks look really nice on double cabs :D

Haha the suspense is killing me!!! Stopped by the shop today to just look at it but they must have closed early. Probably was a good thing that I didn't see it, because it would have made it that much worse to have to wait. Haha And turns out they didn't work on the fender, so I'll have to get a new driver side fender online. But as long as they bent it out enough so I can open the door I'll be fine

Got my truck back today. But the guy didn't do that great of a job. My brakes barely work even though he said he bled them twice. And the USED steering rack he bought leaks. And I can't even drive it right now because somehow the caliper hits my rims now!? I'm about ready to say fuck this and sell the damn thing...

He told us if we couldn't stop the steering rack leak with some lucas stop leak. We can take it back and he'll replace it. As for the caliper hitting the rim, it was just the rotor sheild grinding against the rotor. I don't know what we're going to do about the brakes, maybe he doesn't know how to bleed brakes right and we'll just have to do it again. Who knows.

So now I finally have my truck back to driving status now. Still have a lot of little things to do though.

Figure out why brakes are spongy
Replace passenger side upper and lower ball joints
Replace passenger side inner boot and seal
    Change oil
    Buy tags
And try to figure out how to make my steering rack stop leaking

Fine, I mean you can tell the whole cab is tweaked because my dash makes popping noises and stuff from being in a bind. Also my power steering liles to make weird noises at times... But it's still driveable at least haha i'll probably get another tacoma and sell this one cheap so I can start over though sometime in the future.

So I guess I need to update this.... Haha I bought a 2002 Chevy Silverado for a daily driver back in March and put the Tacoma up for sale. In July I went to BMT for the Air Force and my parents sold the Tacoma while I was in. So as of right now I'm Toyota-less.... :( but I'm still continuously searching for another one! Which I may have just found one today. It's in my hometown and my dad is going to look at it tomorrow. If it's still there and in good condition I'm getting it ASAP! If I get it I won't be able to see it for at least another 4 weeks though until I get home! So hopefully here in about another month I can start a new build!

Haha yeah I miss this truck... I did a lot of cheap mods to it but I wish I would have kept it. Would have been a great rig to SAS!

As for the aal and spacer combo, I didn't have a problem with it. I put it through a lot and it actually rode a bit smoother once I put it in. For $180 I couldn't complain. Now offroad it was rough on bumps and stuff, but for a daily driver it was great.

Those tires were 33x12.50x15's on steel wheels! Haha it was slow, but it didn't bother me too much. I still got about 18-19 mpg on the highway. It was great off road though, it had so much torque! Haha people were amazed by it and it's only drawback was being too light.
