did you just say flat bed

I 'll probably just find the equivalent of the 5150 in a rebuildable shock then.
If Jerry hasnt had problems with it then no one can

Sank the truck :( :pout: :(

Removed the carpet there was still puddles in the cab 2 days later :(
    [IMG]

And I replaced my lower idler pulley due to it being seized

I still need to pull my starter and clean it, its starting to fail now after the incident.
Considering leaving the carpet out and raptor lining the inside Im probably not gonna put the carpet back in so I might as well

O and I also have a $250 gift card to anything CBI makes anybody have any ideas

just ordered a trail gear rear frame box kit and shock relocation kit
    http://www.trail-gear.com/pdf/120165-1-k.pdf

I guess Im gonna install my dakars and shackles, then get this kit installed, and then decide what size shocks I want to run I figure 10" travel but if I can fit 12" travel shocks then I think I want to go that route

I wouldn't bother with 12s unless you have 1'' lift or longer shackles.

10'' mounted in a /\ fashion will give you the same travel as a 12'' mounted l l

Plus really you'll need 4.5-5.5'' bump stops to keep from bottoming out 12'' shocks. 10s i think you'll be fine with the stock ones so you don't loose up travel.

Well I'm gonna get 3/4" of lift from the new shackle and then probably 3" from the Dakars and AAL... ahh it will be easier if I just go 10" I dont wanna lose up travel

Im still on the ropes about angles of the shock but ill probably just end up with the angled setup versus straight up and down layed back

Well im at like 5'' rear lift i think with 10'' in stock location and i still droop pretty damn good and stuff well too.

if i was /\ i would droop even better..would be nice.

Really an 11'' shock for me would be a bit better. 12s i think are just a bit too long after seeing silas do them.

Yeah I'll be fine with a 10" maybe one day if I go with a flat bed I'll go bigger but that will come with a SAC

Do it!! if you fab everything yourself it would be cheap ;)

the trail gear kit was 120 bucks comes with two crossmembers and the plating to box the frame on either side

    yes it shall.

sould would a SAS dbl cab  haha

SAS is just too tall for me and a bit too hardcore, i don't need it. LT will give me plently of wheel travel and take me many a place.

Ill be interested in this kit though..might do it..but probably wont
