Hey everyone, this is my 2001 Tacoma. I just got it about 6 months ago so i haven't done much mods yet but theres lots of things I would like to do to make my truck look badass! I'm only 19 and still in school so money is a problem which means my mods are coming slowly.

    Current mods:

Tinted windows 12% in the back and 20% in the front
    AVS window deflectors
JL 12w1v2 sub with ported box
    JL C2-570x speakers
    Alpine head unit

    Mods to come:

    3 inch lift kit
    HIDs
    Bull Bar
    PIAA 520 fog lights
    Nerf Bars
    Billet grille
    Bushwacker fender flares
    Wheels and bigger tires

Heres a couple of pics of it as of now. Let me know what you think and maybe some suggestions about some mods I could do!

Have you given any consideration to what type of lift you are going to go with?

great start so far!!! personally i would ditch the nerf bar idea and go with tube style bumper and 3-4 driving lights attached to it. I had a bull bar on a previous truck and the 1st bump i took not only damaged the bar but my bumper also. ( i slid coming to a stop on ice into a pole )

Look up Bilstein 5100's, OME suspension lifts, and Eibach coils. Those are the best budget routes. These are all struts/coil lifts. Lots, and lots of info on this forum.

Try and save up enough to do those types of lifts. And avoid spacers/blocks and body lifts.

Hey welcome to TW! and nice truck btw

but i was just in the market for a lift kit and i ended up going with the bilstein 5100 adjustable strut kit for the front with a small spacer to bring it to a true 3" lift and a 2" add a leaf in the rear with the bilstein 5150 shocks in the rear. orderded it all off of wheelersoffroad.com and it came out to just under 600 i believe after shipping and a great ride
