    Started playing with some new toys. Buying the arb pump was the best idea i had. All the wiring harness are included so I dont need to try and make my own!

    and my ginder tried to break my hand. I was trimming and the grinder jumped back and punched me right in the knuckles and not they are swollen haha.

    Also attempted to fix my e locker, and after cleaning it all out and taking it apart twice it still doesent work and Im at a loss as to why. Going to get the volt meter and compare it to another factory e locker next weekend.:mad:

    over a year of no use and almost neglect haha, kicking myself in the pants for that.

    no noise or movement or feel. But i think jace is right, we didnt follow the instructions well enough so I dont thing the gear set on the inside it timed right so something is not turning like its suppsed to. It shouldnt be the wiring, it hasnt changed. so next weekend ill be trying the motor on another truck/another motor on my truck and will see where the issue is and hopefully get it fixed.

    Is that the mini ARB conpressor? Don't use it to air up your tires. You'll burn it up... maybe not the 1st time but you'll definitely shorten it's life...

    The mini costs under $200 I believe (not 100% on that) and the mid grade is like $250-$300. I have the mid grade.

    The motor has been on the fritz for that long, so he would just unbolt the motor and manually slide the locker into place and leave it until he was done wheeling.

    ya it is the mini. And I wont. I have another compressor for the tires. That one is just for the locker(s)

    Eh at that point I might as well just buy a whole new motor.


    Ya the mini was like 170

    Bingo. Since last spring if I wanted to be locked (which was basicially every time) I just slid the rack and left it till I was done

    Much needed weekend in the garage. Because single on valentines day lol. Surprisingly every project went perfect the first time, went fairly quickly, and i had no hiccups or got hurt. That is incredibly surprising for me...


    Started the weekend fixing my blown front drivers side shock. Just got another pair of 5100s. Swapped them out, it was a very straight forward process, we all know how a shock gets taken out lol.

    Then I spent sunday finishing my fuse block install.


    This is what I started with, my rats nest before:

    Mocking up the fuse block tray with some thin sheet steel. It bolts in using the mount for the evap farting box thing, and the mount that holds the vaccum line to the back of the engine bay.

    Pulling out the rats nest, cutting off the individual fuses and busted terminals. Then rewiring a portion of it with new connectors, and cleaner wire. For this im using a Blue Sea 12 blade fuse block and a 100a marine circuit breaker and 4ga wire for the main power source.

    Finished fuse block tray. At the same time I ran the harness for the arb compressor and pre wired the power wire for the pump into the cab. Step 2 for the compressor will be to install the 2 switches in the dash and run the second section of harness in the truck.

    Finished product. Right now I have 6 aux power lines. The harness is coiled up below the tray and heads into the drivers kick panel.
