my shackles are 6" center to center about 1.25 lift

 

Truck looks great man! Super jealous of those goodies! LOL. I wish I had the time to do all that. Also, the fact that you wheel it gives me hope that 5 luggers can be more than just mall crawlers!

had to throw some 90s on the 7100s to clear the bed


and my upper tabs. a little rusty lol. still need to fully weld them and round the corners on the tabs to clear the shock body. have the axle tabs in my room just need to go to my buddies when its not raining and i have a day off of work

 

ok guys finally got the shocks mounted and cycled heres a few pics. just need to get the shocks recharged get the shackles on and shes ready to roll.

shocks are charged and are valved pretty damn close. rides 10x better than it did before. hit a small trail by my gfs house and man it eats up those bumps real smooth now doing a few small things to the truck that bug me and swapping some much needed things might need a hand if someone local can swing by getting torn down the first sunday of march to do what i need to do and get it back on the ground and aligned and prepped for my next wheeling trip. heres a pic of the latest thing ive done




put new droop stops on the ucas and got about another inch of droop

ok guys so i got a question for you my new coils are black sould i leave them black or paint them another color? what color would look cool?

 

Id just leave them black. I really like your build! I have the same truck and plan to put some lift spindles and 30s on it. Are you gonna put low profile droop and bump stops on the front? What shocks are you gonna put up front and what coils did you get?

 

I was thinking a dark charcoal gray. They are moog stock replacements and yes low pro bumps up front just need to figure out a way to mount a decent shock and cycle to make sure i dont get any ball joint bind bumpsteer etc. thanks man im super happy with it. 30s are a bit big imo

 

I ran a 5100 shock from a Chevy before I went lt. Only problem was the collapse length of the shock was a tad long.

 

Ill probably fab some new mounts and run a fox or something

Iv heard about the Chevy shocks. What year were they?

 

I think its a late 90s
