Yeah I tried that but with all the other sheet in there it seemed impossible. I'd be cutting and come up on another sheet of metal, the tip of the blade would hit it and push the sawzall out of the cut. Maybe I just don't know how to use one properly? haha :notsure:

Jerry do you think you're really going to rub when you get your axles under there or are you only cutting the frame for the ORIs?

The front I'm cutting because it's faster and easier to do then cutting, grinding & plating the frame rails. The rear I'm doing what Wyatt did to clear the ORI's and just rebuilding the rear of the frame wile I'm at it.

Oh, I see. I was envisioning something a tad more complicated... I guess that'd be strong enough with enough rienforcement though. I just don't like how thin that would make it in one spot. In addition to plating all around, I'd probably add an 8" piece of 3/16" x 2" x 3" on the backside, or something similar...
    I wish, man.

I actuallt kinda like the idea of trimming the frame, more that I think about it.... I believe I'll tub a bit further since I have to re-do my tubs anyway and seal everything up. (My first tub job was kinda rushed and looks like crap...) If I still can't clear the firewall/body mount with the 2" spacers on there or if the tires are still rubbing the frame pretty badly with the 2" spacers. I may do that..

I think I would do something more like this...

Instead of angling it away then bring it back to where the fram was..you might as well angle the frame in then just straighten it back out. Since your so close to the frame ends.

RCV does make cv's for Tacoma's, only down side is then the diff becomes the weak point.
