My truck is a DD. It vibrates like hell at idle, but once you start moving you don't notice. They definitely keep the engine from flopping around when you're hauling ass. The transmission mount is different for the 5 speed and the automatic. Don't know why...it just is.

I put gussets on the coil buckets and the cam tabs, boxed the rear frame, made new crossmembers, gusseted the outside rear frame and gusseting engine mounts today. Where else would I gusset?
And I think I'll keep the stock motor and tranny mounts for now. I'll be DD'ing more than off-roading for a while, so I can wait on those.

Don't mind him, he just likes to quote random things and stir shit shit up. In fact I recommend you ignore him altogether cause he doesn't know his asshole from his earhole.

You gusseted pretty much everything you should have. The only other thing I might recommend is to add additional plating to the front of the frame, similar to the plates you did in the rear on the outside of the frame rail. However, even though you are keeping the stock motor/tranny mounts, you should still reinforce the motor mount perches on the frame. They are weak as shit and break under normal conditions. And since your truck is down to the frame its a lot easier to add material now.

Not sure...but better to have too much than too little! You might wanna pm JD (cr250jumper) about it. He's a good guy and very helpful...until he gets a pitcher of PBR in him then he's a completely hysterical asshole.

So I finally made some progress after banging my head against a wall with my front wheel bearing. Couldn't get it out, so I took it to some shops and finally the third shop got it out with their 50 ton press. Anyway, its all painted and pretty now. WITH GUSSETS!

I sandblasted them and painted them with POR 15 and then top coated with a gloss black acrylic enamel while the POR 15 was still tacky. Same with my frame.

So I've made some progress. Put my front diff back in and installed my tundra axles, mounted my lower control arms and I put one side together with the spindle and UCA. If anything looks off, let me know



And I installed the limit strap to keep everything up, but ran into some problems.



It looks like its in a good spot but I need to move the mounting bracket up on the frame since the adjustment nut is maxed out and the uniball is still touching the collar.





So its coming along, slowly. Thoughts? Opinions?

I think getting a strap 1" shorter would be easier than moving the bracket.
Where did you get the axles, and did you do the 930 boot mod?
Also, what vendor did you get your coilovers from and did they put the low profile resi elbow in.
