    Sound deadening on the roof.

Any reason I shouldn't put my ceiling piece in yet?
I'll have to cut it for my cab gussets but thats not a big deal

The only reason would be so it doesnt catch sparks and/or heat and catch on fire when you are welding

Good call. The only welding I have left up there is the gusset to the cab. I can hopefully put some fire proof stuff behind where I'm welding and protect it.

I thought you worked on your rig out in the elements :D
Did you ever fix your bed-cage mount to the frame?

    I can speak to it.
This is the first year I've genuinely tolerated MT tires on any of my trucks in the winter. Still a little slick in the winter mix (wet, sloppy ice/snow). But better than any other MT I've had. Simply amazing in powder conditions though. If you're dead set on a MT tire, it's what I would recommend.
They also come pre-drilled for studs too if you want to stud them to make it even more manageable.

I would have but some things interfered.
And for my bedcage mounts, I am rebuilding my bedcage and welding it to the frame so I dont have to worry about the flimsy bed mounts.

    Good plan.
Small suggestion from jberry the destroyer. Plate the top of the frame where your tubes come down. :anonymous:

Well, I should have known better.
The front pillars of the cage pulled in when I welded the top. I think I can spread them back a bit. I thought about that happening before I welded but I didnt think it would do it too much. Word of warning to novice welders, stuff pulls way more than you think it will.
But on the bright side, its back up.

Didnt really take into account the thickness of the ceiling piece so its pretty snug in some places. But thats not a bad thing

    That sucks.
    Cool, thanks Jason.
I think i want MT's for my next tires as I'll be moving to the south in june, but there's a good chance i'll be spending at least this winter in the north/eastern states.

gotta ask, why did you end the cage at the b pillar and not the c pillar?
just seems like your losing alot of space by ending the cage there
