It would be cool if you could incorporate a swing out to your existing bumpers for the spare.

I would love to get a new rear bumper with a swingout. Just ordered a cbi carrier that attaches to the hitch. sent them my measurements, hopefully it will work until I decide to get a new bumper. Thanks for the input!

I wouldn't carry a spare on top of the shell. I don't like having that kind of weight up that high. If you don't build a swing away on your rear bumper you can still fit a 33" tire under the bed in the stock location. You'll need to cut the ends off the little frame for the spare to get it to fit but it will work. You'll lose a little clearance under the bed if you aren't running a narrow spare but it isn't bad.

Thanks adam. I decided to go with the cbi premium hitch tire carrier. They ask for measurements to make it as custom a they can to the truck. Pretty affordable too. Still allowed me to use my tailgate if needed. Would love a swing out tire carrier but don't want to drop to much coin just now. Maybe on a year our so. I'll post picture.s when I get it

Nice @ss truck man !!! Came across this thread while browsing through the 1st Gen builds. I suppose I'll start one at some point. Mine is slowly heading down the path of yours, I just ordered my TG front bumper the other day, got my eyes on an Engo winch down the road. Nice job so far

Oh, and x2 on the baby mod, best investment ever ;), mine is almost ready to start helping me :D.

Good looking truck, see you live in Virginia Beach, Richmond area. Where do you go wheeling at? Sometimes we go wheeling in Portsmouth and Pungo area if you are interested. We want to do a trip to Rausch Creek off road park soon.

Thanks man, it's getting there, slowly... I live in Richmond, but I work in Portsmouth when I'm not travelling, my inlaws live in Va Beach so I stay at their place on rare occasion.

I know all the 757 guys meet up the most regularly I think out of any area in VA. At some point I'd like to meet some of them, there's some nice trucks around... Might be down for that trip depending on how soon it happens. I took my rig out to Shoe Creek right after I got everything installed to test it out, I'm hungry for another trip somewhere before Xmas :D

Rubbing wasn't to bad. Had to do a little trimming when I added the 1.5 inch wheel spacers. Only advice is trial and error.

You don't happen to work in New News do ya ? I passed by a pretty big black doublecab this morning on 664. Made my truck look tiny, I think it was on 35's
