Quick update. Touched up bumper, removed skid for painting, and painted TG turn signal clamps black.

Here is a better pic of the 2 mounting points I had added along with the bracket to mount my skid.

Now my truck will sit where it's at for 2 more weeks until I am out of school and can do the valve cover gaskets.

I have done a lot with my truck the past few weeks. One major thing I accomplished was a valve cover gasket job. This included valve covers (cracked an old one by over tightening a bolt), valve cover gaskets, intake plenum gaskets, cam plugs, spark plugs, and spark plug wires. A few other things I did was re-pack the semi circle plugs with new FIPG, new valve cover bolt washers, new oil filler cap, and thoroughly cleaned the throttle body and intake manifold. I didn't take many pics of this but here's a few pics of the new gaskets in place and the motor with the new covers on.

For christmas I got a pair of 5" Rugged Ridge HID Offroad Lights. I also managed to finally prep and paint my RAT skid!

I kind of wish my light bar was a bit higher so it doesn't block the top of the lights. I may modify this in the future.

So as some may know, I was having CEL issues after my valve cover job. It gave me 3 codes. P0130, P0133, and P0171. I fixed the P0130 and P0133 codes by replacing the upstream O2 sensor. The P0171 code was giving me trouble though. I finally discovered it was either my TB or IAC Valve gasket. When I cleaned my throttle body, I did not remove and clean the IAC Valve. I think some TB cleaner got in the valve and ate at the gasket. I also noticed my TB gasket was not oriented correctly. Anyways, I took the throttle body back off, cleaned the IAC Valve, and replaced both gaskets. NO MORE CEL! Here's a pic of the parts if anyone needs part numbers.

I also permanently mounted the switch for my Rugged Ridge HID's. Just popped out one of the empty slot fillers and went to work with a Dremel. Pics of the process:

    Thanks Eddy!

Yep! Got them on the way now. Should be installed on Friday or so. I got a spare mounted at a local shop so I could test fit the clearance in the front and trim before I got all 4 new tires. That way when the tires got here I could mount n go. The spare cleared great in the front, just gotta knock the pinch weld back a hair. Here's a a couple pics from the test fit.

Thanks man! I can't wait either. They should be on by Fri-Sat. I've always loved your truck. You are one of the reasons why I went black rims with 33's

Yeah smash that pinch weld over and you'll be good to go.

They go drive around so everyone can 'mire your new stance. Lol

Awesome! If I wouldn't have gone with the pre runner style bumper, I'd definitely get a Relentless or Elite plate bumper. Your truck is gonna look sick!

Main reason I went with the Duratracs was they fit exactly what I was looking for in a 33" tire. They weren't a real big 33 (really like 32.5 if I remember correctly). They seemed to be one of the lightest 33's. Tire Rack lists them at 49lbs a piece. And finally, the pattern wasn't TOO aggressive. This was important because this is still my DD and it sees lots of pavement.
