this is where i have made it to as of last night and last weekend.
Friday pulled my hood, grille, fan, air box, belts, (didnt have alot of daylight left after work)

Saturday. pictures may not be in correct order

thing was out and on the ground by 12:30 me and my buddy pulled it in about two and a half hours. not cutting stuff out.

so after it was out, my Wife and I went to the zoo.

then i put in some ARP head studs (from lcengineering) reguardless of what they say they do not fit under cam gears all studds were same length and had to get 4 OEM studs for under the cam gears.

HOLY F SDFKJKASD its a long block now!
Trd headers built and decked heads.
port and polish.
moarrr boost and moarr fuel

Nice progress. Props on ripping open the tranny. While you have it open, thinking of using the upgraded 'blue' clutch packs? Aslo I recently bumped into TransGo-- looks like they have a shift kit for dirt cheap, a comprehenssive "VB upgrade" that IMO is done right (not using shims or solid rods, but stiffer springs and drilling holes in the right places).
