Any detailed pix of how you did the headlight conversion ? or a link to how its done ? Also what did you use to make the sides of the tire carrier ? Did you use part of the old tailgate? More info on the Truck pc would be cool to ... You have so much cool stuff now i want to change my truck around some ..

i have the original thread from when i did them. there isn't a tutorial or anything i followed though. as i said i've done quite a few in the past. if interested there may be a tut on here somewhere that someone used another projector. it would be similar. here's the original thread http://ttora.com/forum/showthread.php?t=158958
you can also look over at hidplanet for more info.

sides of the carrier were 1.5"(or maybe it was 2x2") square tubing. the top end cap i rolled a piece of flat stock to contour to the cut square tubing and tacked it in place. none of the old tailgate was used.

what would ya like to know about the truck pc? just let me know!

aren't you already tubbed? that should be all you have to do lol.. i mean you may have to take slightly more out but i think that's it.
thanks man! that was my first bender project, and now i can't wait for more. if i don't SAS first, then a rear cage is up next

Yeah, I'll have to tub a bit more, but the main thing I'm worried about is the cab mount. I'll trim it as much as I can, and plate it, but I'm thinkin it'll still rub a bit at full stuff and the steering wheel turned just a bit...

Here is full stuff with an almost bald 315... My true 35s still don't rub, but their kinda close.

Nice! haha

a shot from the april fools run. Nick's truck makes mine look like a hot wheels. and the hummer..

after the april fools run it was clear my bed was way too long for the stuff i was wanting to do so i decided i was going to bob it.
oh i also grenaded the lockright.. again. this time i was done messing with it and set out to find a trd axle to swap under it.

took 12" out of the bed

how i drew my straight line haha

oh and plated the bumper finally

found the axle. $575 with the e-locker switch. cleaned it up, painted, made the harness, tested the locker, and voila.

a few more randoms:
offotpic but i bought this for one of my bonfires. needless to say we stuffed people in it and rolled it over hills. i have some awesome bonfires, what can i say haha

FTR i've never messed with drum brakes.. ever. it seems the first time i changed them on my truck i totally effed up. headed to work(2.5 hrs away) one morning at 4am my rear end decided to lock up. somehow the brakes were getting stuck? had to have my step father come get me.

i've thought about that body mount too. i'll look more when i start cutting.. i may design a new mount in CAD and have it cut here at work.

picked up 37"s for a steal. only problem is they are 17" and i don't have any sets of 17" wheels. i keep putting off buying some but i will here eventually.

also slightly off topic but has been a factor in me not doing much on the tank.. my cousin brought me her 2008 jk and a good lump of cash to build it and give her a starting point.
(also these are from the shakedown run at 491 offroad)

back on topic, got my nameplate tacked on

and had a rock get stuck in between my slider. stupid thing.. we were leaving for the day. pushed the cab in a few inches.

and as of this post, the build is currently caught up!

i started to follow http://www.norcalttora.com/~dick/Wri...ck_control.pdf but ran into an issue, i can't remember exactly what.. OH my "lock lamp" (look at that diagram) didn't work not sure why. even with a multimeter i couldn't get any reaction out of it. so with the help of a few diodes i made my own lock lamp. also he didn't show using the oem locker switch, so i figured out the connections on the switch and wired that up.

i forgot to add these. the LEDs behind my gauges started dying off. i'll admit i used the wrong resistors which caused them to fail pre-maturely but it's okay. got them replaced
