Yeah, but I don't feel like spending that much money just to do it. My rockers already have a clear coating on them.

Didn't do anything to it, but my Magnaflow 14" muffler came in today. Unfortunately I won't have time to put it on until Saturday....

My Phillips white headlight bulbs should be here tomorrow and my LED reverse bulbs won't be here until next week.

I'd go for it on your truck, the black would look good with the red!

I finally got a BPV bracket! Painted it with bedliner and installed it. Also installed some Phillips Crystal Vision Ultra bulbs. Can't wait for it to get dark so I can see how bright they are!

Should be installing my diff drop and putting my 14" Magnaflow on tomorrow as well.

Probably going to do a little trimming as well. My tires pulled some of the plastic liner up at where I trimmed it the first time after wheeling last weekend...

You get a chance to see those Philips bulbs at night? How are they for you?

Yeah I tested them out last night. Does look a lot crisper! I like them. My reverse lights came in but the post office hasn't had time to sort through the latest shipment. I should be able to pick them up around 11:30 though.

Haha same here. Spending $14 on reverse bulbs that only last a few months will tick me off! I can't wait to get a rear bumper, then I'll have a set of led flood pods for reverse lights as well!

I have been toying with the idea of getting a 14" magnaflow but I have never personally heard one on a tacoma before so I'm nervous!

Mine will be finished by the end of the day. I decided to just dump it after the muffler. I'll take some video to give you an idea of how it sounds.

do it! I've got the mod itch really bad and this would be a relatively inexpensive way of curing it!

It's done now, it sounds nice. Maybe just a little loud in the cab cruising at 2000 rpms. But it definitely sounds better than my flowmaster I had on my 96! I'll try to take video tomorrow, it's way too windy today to get any good audio...

Haha thanks! I've spent over $4,000 already in 4 months.....

I wouldn't say I have a lot of time, I just work on it a Saturday at a time. And sometimes after work if I have time.

Speaking of having time for mods..... :D

I got a few things done today. Installed my 14" Magnaflow muffler, dumped it right after the muffler.

Installed my LED reverse bulbs (can't wait to see how bright they are!)

Finally installed my diff drop kit. It didn't do much for the cv angles, but it got rid of a LOT of my vibration! So anybody that got vibration after lifting, I suggest buying one of these kits! On a side note, I found out that the previous owner apparently sheared one of the bolts for the rear skid plate. So now the back right corner of my skid hangs down slightly since I can't get a bolt in there. Oh well...

Trimmed off some of the plastic that my tires pulled out. Now the only rubbing I have are my mud flaps, which really isn't bad in my opinion.

Yup, it's a little loud in the cab. But it's nowhere near as loud/annoying as my old Tacoma was with the 2.7 and a Flowmaster dumped!

Overall I like the sound of the Magnaflow a lot, sounds great between 800-1500 rpms! After that it's not too bad of a drone.

    I wouldn't think it'd make a difference. :notsure:

Yeah, I'm thinking that maybe I should have gone with an 18" dumped. But I figure I'd rather have a loud muffler that I can add piping to. I haven't heard the 3.5k rpm sound yet. I really want to do an deck plate, I keep forgetting about that mod! Haha
