Have you read this thread lately and seen what I've bought lately? Of course I don't have any money! Haha it all went to the truck!

Just kidding, I still have money set aside for just about anything. But not that!

Never been and never plan to go. Don't see the appeal of strip clubs....

Great movie BTW haha Stupid, but hilarious!

I try to be, just doesn't always happen haha

I'm sure you won't, but don't be one of the stupid lower ranking individuals that goes out and buys a $40k plus vehicle because the dealer approves the loan!

We have Porsche's, Camaro SS's, Challenger SRT's, 2014 Silverado LTZ's, Audi's, and BMW's parked at the dorms all of the time. I just laugh and keep modding my truck:)

Seems that's the trend across all the branches. My buddy who just got out of the USMC said there were soooo many guys in debt buying those types of vehicles and not to mention crotch rockets

Yeah, not as many motorcycles mainly because of weather/storage here.

I was in the dorms and one guy was flipping out because his credit card came in and was telling his buddies that they're going to party.

Only debt is the truck loan, and I'd like to keep it that way for a while!

All you need is a truck, especially a Tacoma. Can pretty much do everything you need.

I'm planning to get a second vehicle once this thing is payed off.

I should just get a cheap car, but I've only ever owned a 4x4 truck. I don't know if I could go with anything else! I'm interested in the Scion TC's though...

Thinking I might try to get a double cab 1st gen and turn it into a fast truck

Haha yup! Probably keep stock suspension or replace with all OME and gain as little lift as possible and run 265/75/17's on some SCS Stealth 6's.

Or just get a Scion TC for nearly the same price as a used Tacoma.... Haha

My only regret: not getting a 01-04 DC. I hear stories all the time

Eh, I don't have much use for a double cab right now. I much prefer having the longer bed. My next vehicle needs to have full back seats no matter what though. Got to be prepared for the future.... ;)

Yeah, but it's perfect, just go with a 1st Gen DC, GRANTED you have the time, money and space to buy a new vehicle and then just swap everything & sell a stock"ish" looking Tacoma

That way your thousands and thousands of dollars don't go to waste-- which it always does since rarely do you sell for what you paid/put into it

Nah, I'm keeping my current truck no matter what. It's going to be my camping/trail rig. Already sold a Tacoma once and fully regret it.

I want another daily driver that is as close to stock as possible drivetrain wise. Plus with another daily driver I can do much more to the Tacoma without having to worry about getting it done in a weekend.
