No stars. I hate the rockstar wheels, but at least without the stars they're a little more subtle.

I don't really feel my subs move hardly ever. Maybe it's because Jl's are just awesome, but the sub that is close to me I don't even recognize is there. Obviously the bass is so freakin' loud but I never notice/hear the sub specifically moving. What sub do you have? And if it's in a small box you can hear it physically move more since there's a little less bass

haha thanks for the feedback. I just don't like how everyone is getting them, even on crappy cars...kind of pisses me off a little bit. I just like how it gets a little more 'lean' and aggressive look without the stars. meh.

Huh. I have a 10" pioneer shallow mount in a box that is I want to say ~0.78 cubic feet.

It goes in between the seats like this, and I think that might be the reason... but anyhow, its more noticeable at lower notes when the sub moves a lot more, but not as much sound comes out. Also on a song when its just pounding the seats vibrate like crazy... partly due to the bass, partly due to the actual sub moving i think

Try to tighten the seal on the sub, screw it more maybe? On some really low notes I can sometimes hear the sub move but rarely. I bet a bigger box would fix it, but try to make sure the seal is good first.

Seal is fine, one thing I dont want to do is make it too tight and strip the wood that its in. I was thinking my next project might be to add another sub to it, but on the side of the box... That might help the problem, I would just have it always connected and then run a plug to the one thats there now just in case I need some extra pound. But idk if the box is big enough.

Love the truck man! I really like the sub set-up. I'll prolly do something like that in mine whenever I get some subs.
