Spent a good 3 hours sanding down the BudBuilt to prep for painting:

Painting it black. Got tired of the steel look.

Ok then..... hahahahahaha I despise prep work, dude. Maybe it's cause I'm not a man of steel such as yourself. ;) Let's just say my tub of elbow grease more closely resembles a thimble instead of a barrel. :(

I have found when I hurry things, I have to re-do them. Of course, even when I'm patient, I still have to re-do them on occasion.

The reason I am avoiding replacing the flywheel myself is because I know that once I get it apart, I'd be spending 3-4 days putting it back together just right with a few trips to the dealership for new bolts, hoses and such. Although, I could use it as justification for ordering a Lefty from Marlin Crawler, since I'll have it all apart anyway...

Yeah cause I'd be spraying it black as soon as the primer looked dry and mounting to the truck 30 mins later. I hate waiting for paint to dry.

It is my planned project for 2014 although I'm still eyeing Icons. 1st world problems... :p

All good. Was just getting to your text. Busy as crap with the bonus of my waist being down to 40". Another 4" to go before my trainer will be happy.

    You stopping by Cloudy's tomorrow?
