Couldn't get to your call earlier. When is he looking to do this? Any ideas on price range he's willing to go for? Is he willing to go for just the shocks (front and rear) or does he want the full front coilover?

I'll price out the OME stuff tonight.

    Wife rolled it 3x mod...
He wants shocks all around, and if u are willing for the coils he will take those also. Name your price, but he will pay $80 a shock... So $320 + what ever for the coils.

Figuring $400 total. Going to order the new stuff this weekend. Keep thinking about the Icons but the down payment on the house keeps reminding to watch the spending. That and I still have to install this winch which will most likely demand a new battery. 8 years on an Optima red top FTW!

A lot of winching will run down that red top. Did that in my jeep I had. Now I have a yellow top in my taco running front and rear winches. Thinking about a second battery now.

That and it is 8 years old. I've been waiting for the day it dies but it keeps going and going. Figure this winch will give me an excuse to finally replace it.

Don't know if I'm going to just get a yellow top or pony up for an Odyssey.

I kind of figured I knew what it was a few months ago. Just now got around to messing with it.

All I had to do was drill out the hole on the antenna mount a little more so that it would properly ground itself.

Now I've got an SWR reading of 1 or less on all channels :D

New OME stuff showed up today from Wheeler's. Should be unpacking later tonight and installing this weekend. Can't wait to see how the Sports are different than the old ones.

    Love 'em!

    LOVE.

    THEM.

    I.

    FREAKING.

    LOVE.

    THEM.

    Seriously.

I would not run a Tacoma without them. Especially lifted.

Increased overall articulation. More droop. Better reacting suspension. More control.

Get the covers too. Such a genius idea. Keeps 'em sealed on the top. They are the only design that has them.

If you have the money, get them. Pull out a credit card right now.

Before I bought them, running through one of the river bed's to our favourite wheeling spot was a white knuckle nightmare. Afterwards, felt so effortless. I used to get up to 35mph and dreaded it, falling off the back of the pack. Afterwards, I was cruising up at 45-50mph thinking I was in a Cadillac. (maybe not that drastic a difference but I felt much more comfortable hammering it through the river bed.)

When we hit the crawling obstacles, I had so many less traction issues. Tires stayed on the ground more often. Climbed up shit that I'd normally spin a bit on.

Local alignment place had no issue getting the alignment to my spec. That's with OME 882s and 1/2" top plate spacer.

Again, I wouldn't own a Tacoma without them.

PS: be careful when tightening down the ABS sensor harness. Maybe apply a little grease or oil to the threads before putting on the nut. I snapped one with a 1/4" drive ratchet. Cut and ground them down on both arms and just zip tied the sensor harness to the arm.

Brent, I wish I had known about them earlier. Would've been the next mod to do after putting on my original OME lift. Was such a huge improvement in handling and control, I was astounded. I've gotten a taste of what these LT guys can do and that shit is fun.

    for MOAR 882s! ;) :D

Actually swapping out for the Nitrocharger Sports. I bought the lift 4 years ago and didn't know about the Sports at the time (not even sure they were out). I've been wanting to try them and finally got the money to do it. Figured it was easier to order the fully assembled C/Os from Wheeler's than it was just getting the front strut assemblies and paying someone local to swap them over.

Someone local is interested in buying the old stuff so it really comes back down to just paying for new struts. win-win!

Nice! I haven't used the regular nitrochargers, but I love my sports. I think they are awesome but I also have 883s so who knows how alike they'd be.
