Sush you. My savings account needs some recovery time. But, yes, I've been considering that instead of a solid axle conversion. Really, though, I need to get out and enjoy the truck in its natural settings.

I still have to get the 2.2" pulley put on, the short throw shifter and bigger fuel pump installed and then re-tune it. Then I need to get in and do the body mounts and fix the front grill at the same time. Tundra brakes are on the menu too. So, yeah, lots of other work still to do.

Was going back through pictures and realized I had snapped some of the supercharger install and the rear axle work.

    First, the rear axle work.

Dropped the rear axle to re-paint the axle and install relocation plates, extended brake lines and OME greasable shackles.

Not digging this setup at all. Seems to be lacking in the bottom of the RPMs. Going to drive it a little more but strongly considering going back to the aFe and adding a prefilter sock.

Nice truck and build you got going. Easy to pour money into these things. Thought I'd put in what I've got going up here. I run all stock take with S/C, URd and 2.2 pulley at close to same elevation. I haven't installed the fuel pump and it has only pinged a couple times after initial install. I noticed it hasn't at all with the addition off 4.88 gears. Also I have no ISR mod and I capped the deckplate mod as I only seemed to get noise and a very dirty MAF sensor. Truck hauls up the pass 20 over if I want. I don't plan to change the intake but have ordered a new muffler. Good luck

Thanks! Yeah, it could just be the ECM is seeing different flows and needs to relearn. Going to have a buddy that has driven it before test drive it this weekend to see what he thinks. Might just be my imagination because the beautiful S/C whine isn't as prevalent. The truck still pulls, just seems to lack some oomph coming off of idle.

I pulled the aFe after seeing the inside of the stock plenum but it could just be oil buildup from the PCV. My MAF has been clean so maybe I'm over-reacting. I'll get some pictures done up here in a couple.

Got the plenum setup on the kitchen counter to photograph.

A decent shot to see the oil buildup from the PCV:

Played with the lighting to get some shots inside:

Definitely a bunch of oil. Don't know how much dust and dirt is in there but the oil has a gritty feel. Considering sending off a sample to get it analyzed next time I change the oil

What kind of tuning did you do once you got the URD 7th in? I don't run the URD 7th with my S/C and seem to get away with it here in CO, never really had pinging issues. I'd like to get the URD 7th in the future but it scares me a little as I'm not very good with engine work. Did you run her without it at first? Was there a noticeable difference? Truck looks great as always too!

No tuning done so far. My understanding is that it comes with a very safe mapping and experience seems to back that up.

I ran the S/C without the 7th but got pinging. However, I'm guessing this was due to overlooking the vacuum port right underneath the throttle body that was supposed to be capped.

Interesting. I've read about the preloaded mapping as well. I might have to do this in the spring if it gives better performance. Keep us posted! Nice work!
