Pull your EFI relay then turn the key to ign for 20 min to reset the EFI mapping to have learn the change in intake setup... I'll be in the garage all day Saturday, if you want to come by... A second set of hand would be great for pressing those ball joints in. I'll be smoking ribs...

Still have to get used to the feel but nice having the shorter shifts.

Replaced the torsional clutch spring with a linear one. Found out I got the wrong linear spring. Have an order in to Camelback to try a couple of different ones.

4 cyl. clutch return spring is 9050714030

brake return spring is 9090507028 (think it applies to both models)

Will post pictures when they come in. Probably not until Saturday as some of the parts I ordered from Camelback aren't in stock.

The spring that I tried (part # 90905-07020) will work with a little grinding on the clutch pedal assembly, just more effort than trying a couple of other $3 springs first.

Went with Spring #1 because of the smaller diameter.

    Not pressed:
    IMG_0070_zps39c1d687_0a5b1663acacfbe7002967f557716275f4d2c03e.jpg

    Depressed:

No contact on the pedal assembly cross brace (as expected). Minor contact on the torsional spring tab. If I can't live with it, I'll grind down the corner a bit but it isn't noticeable unless I expect it.

The pedal requires about the same force as the torsional spring except there isn't that weird wind-up "hump" and loosening. Way quieter too.

With the excellent help of SGT Taco, finally got my off-road and fog lights aimed.

    Driving lights:
    IMG_0111_zps5e1abdb4_f6406c6a622357fc2631f76525c8192085923c44.jpg

Set them up per PIAA's instructions at 25 feet. Very good symmetry when 5 feet from the wall which says we did a good job.

Took the rock guards off the fog lights and made a huge difference in brightness and sharpness.

You want to sell any of the other brake pedal return springs? The dealer here sucks and gives me the run around about back ordering and blah blah blah

Oh yeah....ask Santa for this for X-mas (Toyota 00-04 Tacoma V6 3.4L Manual Trans. Silicone Radiator Hose Kit Red) if you type that in Amazon it will pull It up...I love mine and it gives a nice addition to your red accents!!!!

Sorry I didn't get back to you sooner.

I can throw one in the post for $10 (that should cover the spring and postage).

Sucks that your local dealer is giving you the runaround because $10 for a spring is a bit crazy.

Replaced the engine fan today because it threw a blade.

Didn't have to drain any coolant or take off the top radiator hose, just unbolted the shroud and pushed it back:

New vs. Old. Was happy the dealership had one in stock (toyota part no. 1636162010)

Got to use my snazzy little torque wrench for in-lbf:

    New one in and torqued:

Shroud back on and runs fine.
