Painted emblems the other day, or rather I "Plasti-Dipped" them. Worked well on the Tacoma emblem, not on the Trd though. It didn't peel off around the letters like it did with the Tacoma emblem. I'm going to re-do them alittle later and just use a razor around the edges before i peel it off.

31s, and no lift! Stock suspension will stay until it needs to be replaced, can't complain with the stock ride. The forest green is the best color on this truck imo

Haven't posted on the build thread for awhile, so i thought it was time to update it. A clean engine compartment, can't complain about that!

The fenders were ugly faded grey for too long, so I took the initiative to fix the issue! Rustoleum Truck Bedliner in a can is what i used, and I am very pleased with the results. Prepped by washing the entire truck, sanding each individual fender with a high grit sandpaper, and wiping them down finally with Laquer Thinner. Stuff stuck great after that!

I also got tired of my grill and the chrome surrounding, so I ordered/installed a powdercoated black billet grill and covered the chrome with the Bedliner in a can.

Nice, the black and green are a good combo. I'm de-chroming my green truck too, don't have much left now, just looking for some black door handles to replace the chrome ones and removing the emblems. Not sure what to do with the fuel door lock.

Those flares and grill came out great, I'm thinking of using that on the rear bumper.

Check out my build. I painted my chrome door handles and plasti-dipped my the gas door lock. No need to worry about getting into the doors. Too much hassle.

Got the TRD badge from ebay. I searched amazon and comparable websites, and ebay ended up having the best deal. It was like $11.00 with shipping.

Looks super clean with that TRD badge, you planning on blacking out the chrome front bumper at all? I did my chrome sections of the front bumper last weekend and it came out really good. I just sanded them 100 grit, primered then painted with Duplicolor flat black, I was skeptical b/c I had never painted over chrome before but it came out pretty good.
