Dude I went through the Elite Bumper Order threads to get pics so I can see what I should be expecting and stumbled across your pic, clicked on your build and looked through more.

Looks damn good & I'm excited to get my bumper. Just got done emailing back & forth with Tim-- it's currently being cutout :goingcrazy:

Yeah I'm a fan of the dark look. Easier to hide da scuffs... I was actually looking at blacked out corners on eBay.

I ditched the unicorn in favor of the Narwhale.

You like that. Took me a minute to figure out the placement of the gauges. Once I figured it out, I put the temp gauge there.

Same basic shit everybody else had 5 years ago.
Just awesome! If anything ever happens to the ARB or I just get tired of the old behemoth that is the bumper I am going to. I think it is time to go ahead and do the 7069's and 285's. I didn't want to spend the extra money on either wheels or wheel spacers after the lift and while the 265 MTR's don't look awful, I am regretting not going to 285's! I should have listened to all the advice in the posts but didn't.

Trucks like yours and this build thread are going to get me divorced......:D

    Really nice set up Woody!

I just did an install of the 4crawler axle relocation plates. Not too hard to put on, however, if you're not doing a u-bolt flip kit at the same time and are utilizing the original bumpstops you'll want to drill a new hole 3/4" center to center from the original hole so that the u-bolts line up straight. I've seen a few people comment on not doing this and their u-bolts are not straight which may not neccesarily be a bad thing but I'm a perfectionist so I drilled the new hole so everything would line up good. I was very happy once I got out on the trail, no more rubbing on the front of the rear wheel well, tires stuffed up perfect without rubbing. A cheap mod that in my opinion should be included with OME Dakar springs on a 1st gen since they move the axle forward causing the rubbing issue. Or if OME would just move the center pin on the Dakars back 3/4" you wouldn't have to worry about it.

I will give 5 whole dollars for you head unit BUT you will have to pay me to take that hideous bumper with the radio. I can see why you would want to get rid of both.

I am now sold on the ProComp wheels after seeing them on your truck. Nice rig!
