Haha thanks man! Those shift knobs turned out great!!

I see you didn't use an extended hub or anything? Do your hands not hit the wiper control and signal lights when you turn?

Thx, I'm pretty happy with how the knobs turned out. There is actually a 3" spacer for the wheel which i covered with a 3"-4"PVC coupler. i had to turn the inside just a bit to get it to slide over the spacer. it fits very snug and spins with the wheel. Then I plasti-diped the whole assembly. The diameter of the coupler blends a little better with the blunt edge of the column cover IMO.

Nice. You did a good job. My hub doesn't quiet cover the entire cutout of the trim either. It doesn't really bother me though haha

Picking up another sheet of 48"x120" UHMW 1/4" thick tmw after work. I'm gonna slide through Dusy like no body's business

I picked up a 1/4" bevel router bit today for my router, so all the cut edges will have a nice 45 on them. Going to use a hole saw to drill the oil drain hole, then drill, tap and counter sink all my bolt holes. It's going to be a busy weekend.

I don't think I'll do the 2 front rectangular sections of my front IFS skid. I'll just do the very bottom (under the diff section) transmission skid (once I straighten it and reinforce it) and transfer case skid. I'll be using counter sunk Allen bolts.

Then all I have to do is drag my ass across some rocks to see if it works hahah.

I ran out of counter sunk bolts for the transmission skid, but it's all cut and drilled. I bought every bolt in the bolt bin haha. The hardware store should have the bolts by end of day tmw.

It was A LOT of freakin work, my god. I started at 9:00am Saturday and didn't get finished until dinner time. Every bolt is drilled and tapped into the metal skids. (13 holes per skid) Then counter sunk into the UHMW.

Well it certainly isn't cheap haha. The 48"x120" sheet was $250. I only picked up 36"x60" though as it was all I could fit in the truck haha. Bobbed box problems.....

Most definitely not. It was one of the first things I did when I got the truck. I cut it out even before I put the lift in.

Take that shit out now! There's no use for it, except for highway driving.

I'm really thinking about it, I have a loud ass clunk over speed bumps and I swear the sway bar is hitting my ifs skid.. I'm scared My stock suspension with spacers is going to have way to much body roll.

No it won't be to bad. The body roll is a lot less than you think. Your probably still the last person with their sway bar in lol.

And from what I remember, the sway bar is quiet some ways from the skid plate. You might have some other issues.

Could be your sway bar links or bushings, lower shock bushing, lower control arm bushings, balljoints, loose bolt somewhere. Check everything to find your clunk.

    Not a Stocko Taco.
And while your doing that remove the sway bar!
    Truck will still feel solid.
