Tanner what springs did you use in your locker? The thicker ones or the smaller?

I used the ones they supplied with the locker. So I'm gonna go out on a limb and say the smaller ones.

I haven't had any problems yet no. I have had shitty experiences with those u joints you have though. They're garbage haha. I use oem joints, and grease them every time I change the oil. Sounds like it was a faulty I joint.

Paul! Long time no talk! I haven't been doing much with the truck. To busy working and getting ready for winter here haha. Trucks doing great though! I made a pretty badass toolbox at work last weekend that fits behind the cab in between the cab and highlift rack. I'll get a picture of it. Now all my spare parts are out of the truck and secured.

How are you doing!? Trucks treating you ok?

I should probably update this thread haha. Kind of went dead after we got back from are trip. I've been to busy with work to do anything. I did manage to build myself a super slick tool box last Saturday morning. After having all my shit bang and clang around inside the truck on the trip, I decided I had enough. Spoonmans tool box worked great and it housed a lot of stuff. Only downfall is 1) it's a lot of money haha and 2) it overhangs on the top of his box. Which in reality probably saved his ass on dusy coming down whitebark gatekeeper. Without that tool box in their his box would have been completely mangled. It even bent it upwards!!

Soooo here it is. I fit it between the cab and highlift rack. There's only about an inch of room to get the top open. Which is how I designed it. Nice tight fit. Fits below my bed rails. It's bolted down.

Well consider I wash it when I wash the truck, everything stays bone dry. I left the latch about an 1/8" down so it's a tight fit to close the door. If a guy really wanted he could put some weather stripping around the edges. I built it pretty damn strong. It's all 3/4" OSB. I build custom homes for a living so it was all material I had left over. Not to worried about it rotting away. It didn't cost me anything other than a small can of outdoor paint and a few hinges. Sooo...$15 haha.

Plywood would have been better but like I said...it was free. Took me all of an hr to build to

Spray that box with bedliner and you wouldn't even know it was wood, and it would be more weatherproof. Cool box.

Did you cut your fenders wider and taller after removing flares? I'm not seeing the holes...

He took the plastic clips, trimmed them down, painted them, and put them back in.
