Some of my friends have commented on how nice the trim looks for being such an old truck. I sanded the factory rubber off with 80 grit then sprayed on dupli-color bed liner.

you will want to start with felt or i used an old t-shirt then you want to put a layer of fiber glass matte over it. For something this small I only used one layer of glass, any more would be a waist. I also used the stock insert and cut out some of the center for the back of the tweeter mount and the wires. dont cut any mouts off. Any other questions I am more than happy to help.

yes, just cleaned it real good first and tape the door to the house off. The Rustoleum doesn't get as bad over spray as auto paint.

bottom plastic removed. it's a bit of a ghetto mod for 01-04 bumpers to snag a couple more inches of front clearance without buying a whole new bumper. although I've never seen it on a 95-97

I took the bumper off to plasti-dip it and one of the turn signals broke so I relocated the turn signal in the side marker and cut the sides of the bumper off.

Wow im really liking the build. I need to repaint my truck too and I love how yours looks. Il be contacting you soon about paint stuff. Quick question, when you pulled the intake manifold off did you notice oil in the manifold?

Yeah a little, I cleaned it out really good and installed an oil catch can that comes off of the cam covers. There is a vent line that runs off of both of the cam covers and runs directly into your intake line. Catch cans are simply a foam filled can that catches any oil that would come through that line.
