Yeaaaaaah boyy, got my skids on today too, ready to wheel. I got some major tire rub, just need some help tubing the firewall.

I also noted that I need some transfer case protection, I have the all pro tcase skid but it's not great, a gas tank skid and some rear pumpkin skid as well.

I want one of those rat skids but dude never sells them??

I hear that. I will be happy with extended coils, uniball uca, and resi shocks. Full LT IMO is spring under, bed cage, new LCA's, UCA's, way wider, glass all around etc. Do you have any intentions of going fast or is slow crawling really all you want if you want SAS? I guess an overlander can be SAS or IFS really. Boxrocket seems to do it relatively well.

Fast on the freeway yeah haha. But offroad, no. Just some slow crawling, there's absolutely no desert terrain around me so I'm not into the fast desert racing. I don't know if you've seen the expedition overland series on YouTube but that tacoma literally goes anywhere and it's an 01 ifs like mine. I'm not to worried about it, the body might get a little beat up but with gears and 2 cases it will go anywhere.

It looks like you probably have the e-locker in the back but what about up front? Wouldn't an ARB locker (or even an LSD) up front take you further than 2 t-cases? :notsure: iono maybe you already have a locker figured into your regear price.

Great build Jimmy, just found it today. Bed cage idea and workmanship is really impressive.

well yes a locker in front will help out immensely but im still undecided, I may go with an lsd but probably not a true locker, our front diffs are not the strongest.

point is the front locker cant get you anywhere if you dont have low enough gearing to make it up in the first place. Reality is you need both.

yeah im kinda bummed I was supposed to be notified when they were for sale. its extremely frustrating to not be able to buy something when you want it. stupid group buys.

thanks bud!! I think I saw your rig at Freidman's in Petaluma earlier this week.

Negative sir! Never been there but I've got a ton of customers in Petaluma, so you'll see me one day. My turd is stock and hard to differentiate, unless you notice the chunks of derp still clinging to my lug nut holes that I haven't gotten off yet

Dang...I was hoping I wouldn't have to mess with the firewall. Looks like I might have to stick with the same size.

It's not completely necessary, you can get away with it, in the pics above where the front tires are stuffed they don't rub at all. When you turn the wheel is when they hit, and it's not much. Way less than a 35x12.50. You could honestly get away with beating it with a hammer.
