Nice job on your truck! I'm going with the same wheels. Haven't decided on a bed cap or an undercover tonneau yet though.

I got the same wheels, different tires. They look great! I looked at his pics many many times before finally deciding on the Pro Comps. Go for it!

Thanks! I really do like the bedcap. I wanted a 4runner but needed the use of a truck bed sometimes, threats why I went with it. I've slept in the bed many times. Comes in handy. My 2c.

Thanks! Your truck looks great, good choice in wheels, they are extremely affordable for how much good looks you get from them.

Definitely, I get so many more looks with my new stance now
God I freakin' LOVE the color of your Tacoma, if I didn't get black, I would have definitely bought a green one

EDIT: Just looked at your winch post.... REALLY making me want to buy a WARN M8000  I've had it bookmarked for weeks now just continually checking the price on Amazon.

Where did you get yours? Amazon has em for $585

Yeah man green was pretty much the only color i was looking for! You should buy one the winch is really really nice. Yes I got mine off Amazon they have the cheapest price by far. I got the m8000-s with the synthetic rope. Much easier on the hands and it saves some weight!

Finished my satioshi grill and mounted with an andres emblem. It's not the best one ever made but I think it came out good:)

Yeah I just started looking into the m8000-s since that'd save me a few steps (selling steel line/fairlead & buying synthetic line). I've heard a few positive reviews about the Smittybilt XRC8 from guys on here so I have some serious thinking to do

Fork out the cash for the warn, you're going to end up with one anyways when the shittybuilt craps out on you.

It is a tad slower but for the most part it is not much different!

Yeah the guy at 4wheelparts was trying to sell me on the Smittybilt pretty hard, he skimmed over the part in conversation pretty quick about how 4wheelparts owns Smittybilt.... maybe that's where the hard sales pitch was coming from

I called him out on that and he tried swearing by that they are the exact same winch mechanics, just Smittybilt is cheaper and he can offer a $100 lifetime warranty on the winch..... I walked out of there with a bad feeling about their advice from there on out but what can ya do.

I'll probably end up getting the m8000 or m8000-s. I'm just running out of mod cash :(

Hey so now I'm really considering the m8000-s instead of the m8000 and get synthetic rope separate. I know you just got it but what did your previous research on it tell you (pros/cons) and what is your impression so far with WARN's synthetic rope?

I did a lot of research prior to buying the winch, I was looking into the masterpull ropes as the quality is better but you definitely pay for it. Around $500 for 50ft, the m8000-s comes with 100ft. I decided just to go with the warn one. A lot of my friends with hardcore trail trucks run this line without any problems, I have not heard a bad thing about it. My first impressions were it was a quality rope, plus when used with a snatch block its just much more user friendly than a steel wire. It's a quality rope, I have no delusions though, I know it won't last forever, once it wears out hopefully ill have gotten my money's worth and ill go with a masterpull line. Check out www.polyperformance.com they have good deals on synthetic lines, fair leads and such. They also have a good "clearance" section.

I used the similar product from turtle wax, I agree it does work great. I'm gonna line-x them soon so they never fade...hopefully.

I'm guessing the line-x would be easier to rattle can than the straight plastic right? I agree though those back to black products last about a month.

So I had a few hours free today to install the light bar. Installation was easy, square it up, drill holes. Hook up harness! Easy money. I'll take some pics of the projection once it gets a little darker tonight.
