This is my third Tacoma, but first 4x4. First two were Prerunners. The first gens with low mileage and in good condition are getting hard to find. I started looking on a national level and found this in Kansas with 83k on the clock and in amazing condition. First pic was taken 8/24/13 and then how it looked when I bought it. Not my first choice of colors, but it was too clean to pass up.

Thanks man. I love the tires. I think they are fairy quiet for MT. Seem to get a bit louder as they wear. I have about 4k on them. Off road they work really well so far. I just relocated the axle back about 3/4" today due to in full flex the tire will eat the front of the rear fender well. I hope this resolves that issue. I have had this truck two months and have made a lot of progress. Lots of great input on TW. I love the ARB, the last truck a girl pulled out in front of my and they totaled the truck so I decided this time I will armor the front a bit. Still have lots or projects to come as money allows. I used a truck bed liner spray can on the sliders to provide some grip when they are wet. I should have sprayed them before they got welded, would have been much easier.

I was going to ask you what type of paint u used on them sliders. im fixing to bedlined mine with the kit i bought to say some $$$. i am ready to get them on so bad. after i bedlined them i am going to weld them on too. i was thinking to weld fist then spray them but after what u told me it is easier i just am a little impatient and want them on now. Hahaha!!! i tell u what i was stoked when they put the trail Grappler's on my truck. just had them on now less than a month and their awesome man. if u get a minute head over to my build, like u said i want input and suggestions.

CBI makes a few I'd love to have on the back of my truck.

Elite makes a nice 1st gen rear bumper. I guess it depends on what you want to get out a bumper. (And how much money you have to spend)

Tested out the axle relocation plates, no more rubbing the front of the rear fender well. Nice mod for $30.

I moved the axle back 3/4". It was an easy install, maybe 45 minutes with an extra hand. I wish I had know I needed this before wheeling it. I was able to fix the minor damage the tire did to the fender well.

looks good man. i like where u put the mag light. i had mine on the bottem of my door panel but got knocked off. this is where i am going to put it next though. how do u like ur pioneer stereo. i am thinking about getting one like ur's with the touch screen an all. i like how it fits perfect where the old one was and it covers the entire area too.

Love the head unit, should have splurged and got the navigation. Running component JL Audio C2 tweets and 6.5's in the front Coax C2 in rear with 2 Hertz 8" subs. Fosgate mono amp and JL Audio 4 channel. Wish I could get a larger box in this tru
I had a mag light mounted in this same place on my last Tacoma , but I just used self tapper into the plastic and used the Mag Light holder, but it rattled like crazy and eventually broke, so the quickfists work well and it does not rattle. This one is bolted in.

thanks for the advice man. i think now i am definitely getting one. do u like the tweeters and the subs. why i ask is i am thinking about getting a set up like urs for when birthday rolls around in a few months or Christmas. a lot of people say it is a lot clearer with the tweets and dont have that real loud muffling noise. Does it? i am wanting to upgrade it soon though, if u dont mind me asking how much was the head unit and then eveything all together. thanks man i appreciate it.
