Well my spare time is few and far between but I have a new project, I just got it moved locally to me so I can mess with it when I have time.

    Specs:
1965 C10 with the 230 I6 and 3 on the tree, 146K miles if my grandpa is correct.

    Back story:
My grandpa bought it in 1970 for $500, my Dad, Aunts, and uncle all learned to drive in this truck, and it was my dad's truck until 1985 (He bought a little dodge and ended up driving it more than this truck), so It's been sitting since '85 (The last inspection sticker was for '85).
It sat under a barn for 20 years, then katrina took the barn down around the truck so it's been out in the open since katrina.

    The plan:
Work on cleaning it up and get a list of what exactly is missing/screwed up.
After I wash it I'm gonna see if the motor is seized, and check the the linkages.

    [/QUOTE]

I messed with her some today, pulled the spark plugs (Surprised how easy they came out for being rusted in, ATF/Acetone frees everything up), pulled the valve cover, and filled the radiator.
The engine is slightly seized, I sprayed some ATF/Acetone in the cylinders but tomorrow on lunch break I'm gonna get some marvel mystery oil to put in also and see if I can't break it loose.

So far to get it to run all I need is:
Carburator -$170 (Rebuilt to manufacturers specs)
radiator hoses (Not sure on cost)
    Spark plugs (Cheap)
    Oil and filter change
and a temporary way to deliver fuel so I can run it.

For the restoration I need to find an intake/air filter system

    (07/11/15)

Got a Smittybilt XRC 9.5K winch to install, and got my LED bar installed.
Also ordered a blue sea fuse block, rocker switches for the winch (In cab controls) and a paranoid fab 4 switch holder for the ashtray spot.
thinking about cutting some square holes in the bumper for LED pods while I have it off.
    (5/23/15)
Finally finished my bumper, got my suspension upgraded (OME nitrochargers with 883 coils) and should be getting a winch in the next few weeks (Smittybilt XRC 9.5) Gonna clean her up and take some pics soonish.
    IMG_0474.jpg
    (4/1/15)
Ordered a relentless DIY front bumper, and named the truck Audrey.
    (6/8/14)
Installed a 410 watt inverter under the passenger seat, charged my macbook for 20 minutes with the AC on max and feet only and the inverter was cool to the touch, so I shouldn't have heat issues.
And I fixed the upholder tabs. Followed this write up, and used this material (Pittim recommended it)
    (5/14/14)
Got my scangauge2 installed, really happy with it.

    (05/6/14)
Bought an scan gauge 2, and plasti-dipped my hood.

    (04/6/14)
Bought and installed a powered sub under the drivers seat, really happy with it.

    (03/29/14)
Got my new leafs and shocks installed today, I haven't measured how much lift it gave, but i'm now sitting stinkbug.
I also got some csjumper LED's tonight, 2 red LED's in the map lights and 1 white LED in the dome light.

I also gotta put the extended brake line on sometime soon.

    I'll get better pictures tomorrow

    (01/25/14)
got my lights mounted and wired
put the switch in the right blank by the shifter
    [IMG]
then built the mount for the lights (100% bolt on)

and the lights wired up and working
    [IMG]

    (01/17/14)

added a "marine grade" battery terminal on the positive side, and cleaned up and painted my battery tie down.
and got a PID setup on torque to read my trans temp and i'm getting screwy readings.

    (10/11/13)

Got new shoes on her today (BFG A/T KO's 265/75/16, load range E)
and i flexed it a little
    [IMG]

I used to own a 1995 5 lug tacoma, but it got replaced by this truck (Audrey).
    Specs: 2003 V6 DC TRD 4X4
Mileage: 108,377 when i bought it.

Thanks, I like it to, but I didn't put it in, grey wire mod is definitely getting done soon, probably gonna pull the camper but keep it around, my quad wouldn't fit with the shell on so off it comes, will do, I'm a college kid so the mods are gonna get done very slowly, sliders are gonna be on in under 6 months though.

Gonna be getting a lift soon, I may be trading my tires with a family member who has bigger tires on a stock 04 taco and they rub when you hit bumps, so I'll lift and gain a more aggressive tire.

Did the grey wire mod today, and the 2 lo mod.
    Thoughts:
Locker doesn't help as much as i thought (at least in my terrain), and 2 lo is awesome (options are always awesome).

I thought the same thing jake when locked I thought "big deal" but its because we're so light in the ass end, put a couple hundred pounds over the axle & see what happens, difference is day/night, I haven't done the 2-Lo MOD , dont really know anything about it, howz it done ??

I think part of my problem is tires to, lack of weight plus street tires = both rears spinning when I'm flexing.
Do you have push button 4WD? If so the link is in the text in the OP, just click on 2 lo mod, under the current mods area.
I just left the plug plugged in a little and wrapped it real good with electrical tape.

Ahh, IIRC there's a way to get 2 lo on those, but it's pretty complicated.

Thanks, lift is up next, then sliders,

I ended up not going to the junkyard yesterday, we got the part we needed from the stealership at wholesale cost, so we decided to go with new instead of used.
But i am gonna be going by sometime soon.

Tried these on yesterday, barely rubbed the frame, now i'm debating getting a 1/4 inch spacer or a 3/4'' spacer, i don't think i want the 3/4'' spacer as it will be to wide IMO, but i'm hesitant to run the 1/4'' spacer.
I only rub the frame at full lock.

Got these from doug tonight (thanks doug), not sure if i'm gonna set them to 1'' or stock height, but i'll be putting my coils on them (the current coils are for the 4 cyl engine), and eventually get some 881's or 883 coils once i get skids or a bumper.

Doug let me have his old firestik as he doesn't use CB anymore (thanks Doug  ), so i have a CB, and antenna, gonna pick up some coax soon.

I'm not sure on mount points yet, probably gonna mount it behind the cab, either on a 2nd gen bed rail mounted to the front of my bed, mounted through the rear bumper, or i might make a mount that will mount the antenna inside the bed by the tailgate.
