Coming from you that's a big compliment! She's getting there, slow and steady.

I do but very minimal. Maybe an inch in either direction which doesn't concern me much. I think the tire barely taps the bedside on the hardest turns. I was trying to find a wide strap like you had until I got lucky and came across this.

Alright way more than an inch, 3-4 on non bedside side, but always returns directly to vertical.

Okay was asking to see because when I just had my main strap it held well with daily driving but on the trails with harder side to side movement it slipped from underneath itself and came loose. That's why I was checking to see if your basket type strap was holding better.

I don't think it would ever get loose enough to release, but there is definitely substantial movement. We'll see on the next Rausch trip. :p

Did my front axle seals today at my cousins shop. Also greased my shackles, main eye bolts, and both driveshafts.

    Some pics on the lift:

Also for anyone planning on doing the axle seals, the passenger side axle seal has only a tiny lip to sit on and can be pressed in too far. In order to avoid this we actually put the seal on the axle before installation.

Nope. See the fire in the second pic? Lmao there was no way the OTRE was coming off without us damaging it. Duct tape mod will have to do for now till I can at least afford to replace the OTRE's.

    Update:

Got married and went to Hawaii for our honeymoon:

Now that all that is over, I can finally put a little money back into the truck with some bumper mods I had planned. When I put the tube bumper on I was left with no way to mount the license plate. I also had no recovery setup, and ever since switching to LED reverse lights, I had some reduced night time visibility in reverse.

The LED lights projected straight back which is all well and good but visibility directly behind the truck was much to be desired, and my tool box lights has a ton of blockage due to the spare tire mount and the tail gate.

Here are my solutions to all these issues:

2 5/8" shackles placed in the locations 4xinnovations made holes for.

    Flip up license plate bracket:

Here is the install process on the blitzpros:

For anyone looking to tap into the hot leads for the reverse lights, they are this red and black wire in the harness:

    3B3D63AC-2C10-4E2A-BAC1-644E11AF285D_4b787391568d25e734605cc192d25df5ab555b4b.jpg

I used a new to me product called a posi-tap. It sends a little pin through the hot lead to safely and cleanly make a connection.

    FAA2E0B1-AE55-4E31-8B21-8D13317D5F0A_8d142526f8815be1c92d361bf12abfe30bf5cd9a.jpg

Here is the tap in the harness:

    BE590E8C-74A6-4977-8D8E-86020BF58081_b64e2d1e03e7dedb75948b550e7c217625ad99aa.jpg

I also wanted to make sure the wires were properly protected so I did this with some tech flex:

    B45E69B1-E336-49D5-821F-12663C0F08BA_2b40dfe375b83b50fe79cb8493d8987794adb0f4.jpg

I always try to heat shrink everything too but due to it getting dark and poor planning I had to use a combination of heat shrink/tech flex/ and some electrical tape to tidy it all up.

I was very careful when mounting the lights to put them in a location that will be away from possible damage when wheeling as well as in a location where it would not blind drivers when I am backing out at the mall or something.

I cut the brackets so i could work around the welds on the bumpers:

    3DB2211A-C75A-445D-8D9E-7CFE419665E7_5ba9db610644c212751eadd411885511d13d7b53.jpg

And this shows how nicely tucked the lights are:

    0833F3F5-0EB2-44E5-BCDE-01D1AC2EE6B2_354fc2701f01e2553267b5b2cbd2d1c0f45d7759.jpg

Standing directly behind the truck, you are not blinded by the lights:

This is with the new lights, it shows the area lit up by the new lights:

    Congrats on getting married!

Bumper lights look good! I plan on doing something similar but, it's not high in the list right now.

I hear that. I was just going nuts having a tube bumper and it not being complete the way I planned it in my head.

    :spy:

Got some 1.25" spider trax on last night that I picked up off Josh:

Now I am rubbing the flairs/fender/pinch weld something nasty.:eek: Gotta do a quick cut and smash this weekend. On the bright side, I no longer rub the frame! :p

Also installed a skid row tcase skid:

Yeah drill 4 5/16" holes into frame, screw in self tappers, two bolts in the crossmember and done.

And I know it's next. But it's either spend 3k on the suspension i want or 3k on a bike.

Dang 3k for an IFS lift... Might as well SAS it!! But I guess do it right the first time

Having a new bike would be sweet too! MY wife won't let me ride.. :pout:

Skid looks good, you need some front ones! More impotent then a lift IMO
think I'm still set on burning in a mid x-member and running a reinforced plate between the two (ala BoxRocket)

So like a cross member right after the t case right?

And yeah I would love to sas but to be honest I just wanna go fast so I'll always stay ifs. Blazing through the pines (not that i would know since it's illegal) is fun as fuck.

But yeah I had my bike stolen I think two years ago now and I'm dying to get back on the street.
