Ok, that makes sense. I think since I have the exhaust hanger relocation, cut won't be needed. I hope not, since I got nothing to cut with haha. I'll eyeball it first... My dakars came with bushings too, just wasn't sure if new ones were needed to fit diff shackles. Sounds like I'm g2g for this job. Thanks for clearing that up!

3" lift EIBACH coils w/ 5100's front, OME/ Dakar leaf springs w/ toytec adjustable shackles at 1.5" and 5125's out back. 33x10.5x15 KM2's Relentless DIY steel bumper.
The exhaust relocation bracket still may get in the way of the leaf spring and tail pipe. It did for me, so I decided to cut on the turndown just after the rear axle.

Hmmm ok. Guess I need to add a last minute tool to my Xmas list. Any real downside you can see to cutting exhaust at the turndown?

Edit - can rent chain pipe cutter for free from autozone. Sounds perfect for a tool Neanderthal like me.

Their really ain't a special spot I cut mine right at the turn down and done perfect. If u can rent that for free at autozone that's what I would do. I cut mine with a saw zaw.

Subbed! I wish I had a double cab...

I also cut mine after the axle. It is a little louder in cab but no bad at all. The other thing is that now that it's cold the exhaust comes out from different places under the bed but I'm a little OCD haha :p

I worry about that, since dogs will be in camper shell. Ideally I want the gasses blowing away from the vehicle. Might need to come up with something different. Wish I could weld!!! Grrrr.

My exhaust is cut like that and I have my kids ride in the back with the topper on. No exhaust fumes to speak of.

had a place close by that powdercoated both ARB and the swing out for around $275. imo it wasnt that bad cause it would have cost me that in proffesional autimoative paint or even more, im glad tough i got it powdercoated. u should see it in person man.
