Yeah I was going to do the suspension part first and then the tires but my mom surprised me with them as a birthday present

I don't know yet. I expect them to. I get them Friday as my mom ordered them through some friends that have a tire shop that give us good deals. They are bringing them down when their sons school plays our school. Hopefully they don't do too bad until I can order my lift and some wheel spacers

What lift are you thinking of & how high are you wanting to jack it up?

I was thinking about either a Bilstein or a old man emu lift at about a 3 inch lift. Nothing huge but decent enough to keep me up with some of the members of my four wheel drive club

Check out my build for more info/pics, but I got the Toytec/Eibach Coils up from (guaranteed 3") and All-Pro Expedition Leafs in the rear (guaranteed 3"). I really like the result, though I got closer to 4" of lift. Rides smooth (new 5100/5125 shocks all around) and is able to handle A LOT of weight

Should look good with whatever you decide

Thanks. What did you end up paying for all that, if you don't mind me asking? With my four wheel drive membership, we get discounts at 4wheelparts.com for crazy discounts like 20%. So that's why I was looking for a kind of generalized lift on that site so I can save as much as I can

Oh alright thanks. I didn't know this going into to it and now I'm kinda realizing there's more to this than just simple steps. How do you trim the pinch weld?( yes it's a stupid question as I am a beginning builder)

Let's see... Eibach coils were $180, Expo leafs were $400, new Bilstein shocks all around were $320ish, U-Bolts were $10 each(x4), Extended brake line/BAMF BPV relocation was $30. Soooooo like a thousand dollars lol. && that's not including shipping/installation of coils (in my case)

Pinch weld is on the front wheel well on the inside of the fender flare behind the plastic closest to the cab... here's a pic of it & me grinding mine off, hope it helps:

That helps A LOT thank you. I totally had no idea. I'll have to go see what I can do up at our college and change that. Do you just weld it with a mig welder once you grind it?

Ginder isn't necessary. Just use a BIG hammer and pound it flat.

As has been said, those 33's will tear up your fenders without a lift. You'll still need to trim after the lift but I wouldn't put the 33's on until the lift is done.

Should I just return the 33s and get a different size like 32's?

Then that's the second dilemma. What lift should I go with? I've been pondering piecing together a lift like coug or just buying an Old Man Emu kit like box rocket. I've heard and seen great things done with both and I don't have a huge budget but enough to get me either one

I have no experience with OME lifts, or AAL with rear suspension. However I am very satisfied with my Eibach coils, AllPro Expo Leaf Pack & Bilstein Shocks all around. It's a more pricey lift but you could probably get the same satisfaction with Eibach Coils and a AAL/Shackle

This is true. Although my CVs are not that bad since I put the Expos/33's on. They made a pretty drastic difference... although truth be told I have closer to 4" of lift with my current set up so I'll be glad to get some extra weight on my rig
