yea if you had a fully manual Tcase you'd have the option of triple sticks.

Can't with the electric 4wd actuator.

Always swap one in..pretty easy to do so. But..an unfortunate extra cost for just gaining 2wd lo and 2wd lo lo...which honestly..i can't think of a TON of situations that will be handy..

    yea it goes:

    Tranny-Crawlbox-Stock Tcase

cool. Hadn't seen that. Well with that then yes i would guess you could do 2 lo and 2 lo lo still as the crawlbox is totally manual.

This is my next mod. Going to start looking for the T-case take it apart and make sure all is good. Then buy the Inchworm adaptor plates...

Truck looks awesome. If I had a first gen I'd want it to look just like yours.

Are you looking into the 4.7 gearing or 2.3 gearing for the crawler?

2.3 is what I am looking to get. I have been told the 4.7 puts too much stress on other components.

Nah its usually cause it spins so fast that its know for not being quite as strong..

but i have seen i think one 2.3 crawl box and every other one has been 4.7...so..:notsure:

I thought id go 4.7 for sure but now...not sure id really NEED 12.9 compound ratio ha

I have talked to inchworm about this very thing. They do sell a 4.7 but dont recommend running one due to the increased loads on the chain drive.

yea it is a lot of torqure and heat.

Not like 5.8 gear ratio is fast or anything :p haha I feel like id have buyers remorse though once i wheeled with someone who had a 4.7 box.

Really though..just dual cases will be great

yea just cause of the torque it applies and how fast it spins.

That said, i went through Marlin's forums..and Marlin said they have never had one explode. Just keep it full of good oil and it'll be fine i guess
