Thanks man. The dude who sold it was responsible, and hardly drove it since he worked close to home.

I was just thinkin' that. Unfortunately I'm pretty much street or light trail only until we have new tires. Tw's didn't work out so well, and can't afford a full set of tires right now - on top of trying to convince the wife that we NEED new ones :)

I think we might go poke around hollister on Xmas and have a picnic, since the fam is out of town. Welcome to join if you want. Sig others welcome!

Thx! Never too many.. Btw I think what I'll do for now is cut the exhaust at turndown, then have a muffler shop redirect out the side, and add a new tip to keep drone down and exhaust from under vehicle. Maybe I'm overthinking it but I'll feel better, haha.

Update for the build thread, more details in other threads. Dropped diff, removed tool, installed ECGs bushing. Now I am vibes free. Also hacked off tail pipe at downturn. Planning to have a muffler shop make a custom dump of exhaust at some point. Will post some pics of the exhaust next week after I get my toytec shackles and (hopefully) cb radio installed.

Every day I struggle with wanting to put a topper on my truck. I don't haul anything but the wasted space in the bed always has me scratching my head. Someday maybe.

So... Finished cb install, didn't get around to longer shackles. Also, I think my diff is leaking. Guess I will need to figure that out. I'm hoping I do t have to pull the diff against... That was not fun.

    Uniden 520xl
    Door jamb mount
    Heavy spring
    Quick disconnect
    4' firestik II
    20' coax cable

Swr is pretty much 0 on both 1 and 40.

    Here are some pics:

Also figured out my driver side axle seal is leaking pretty bad. Will address next weekend.

Full ome lift, nitro charger sports all 4 corners (rear shocks relocated), Dakar pack w/ AAL, 882 coils, diff drop, toytec 1" shackles, trail gear low profile front bumper, Tuff Stuff winch, bamf sliders, RAT skids, BAMF Bed Rack, Tepui Kukenam RTT, RAT rear bumper,
    Questions:

    1) should I kick the shackles up another .5"? Really easy to do, whaddaya think?

    2) found a deal on 15" 96' 4runner alloy wheels - 4 for $100.00. Know if these will fit over caliper, or back spacing? I would paint them black for sure...

Just get the D6XL extra leaf for your Dakar springs. It will give you the same amount of lift that a 2" shackle would and support the weight of your topper and other gear better.
