as it says in the title heres my slow 03 DC Prerunner build

as she sits today: 3/27/2014


2003 tacoma doublecab
3.4L
trail gear low profile bumper
custom tire gate
mcneil racing fenders
285/75/16 all season tires

she started out stock an first thing i did was buy a used ARB bumper an put some lights from a jeep i had on it an painted my rims black

the trail gear bumper seemed pretty simple an looked good so i went with that. pretty good price too

then painted it black


then just cleaned up some of the plastic parts


then painted all the silverish parts underneath the bumper

was up in nashville for a couple weeks getting my A&P license so it sat parked here for a bit


got bored sitting in the hotel room so i was messing around with a pic of the truck from around when i first got it lol


bought some wheel spacers when i got home!


installed them an also just bought some coil spacers for like $10 off here for the time being till i save up $$$$ for a big suspension makeover

next i bought some fiberglass fenders from a member on here


painted the inside of the fenders an thanks to my dog for pissing all over my tires.....

still got a bunch of stuff planned for the truck. i got some streetlocks ordered which theyre on the back order list an a 50'' led bar collecting dust in my room. probably gonna get a rack of some sort made an mount it to that. but there are some big things coming to the truck this spring!! Stay Tuned!!

an ive been looking online at a mid travel setup here is what im planning so far:
*front - icon extended travel 2.5 w/ reservior coilovers an camburg UCAs
*rear - icon 2.0 reservior aluminum shocks with either a deaver J59 pack or OME dakar pack
im still up for opinions an suggestions on all this so if you got any input or reviews on this stuff let me know!
