Sorry for missing this! I haven't been active on the board lately.

It sits pretty much right on top of the charcoal canister and is secured by the same mounting points. I did square off the edge (the piece that is tack welded) for support. I didn't measure much, just traced it out and trimmed it until it fit.

As for travels, the trip may be scaled back because I have so much going on. I need to prepare mentally and physically for the upcoming school year as I will be competing for an EA in ROTC. I will get up there some day!

And thank you all for the comments guys!

I've been meaning to update this thread! I'll get some pics up soon.

I've since put in All Pro 3" springs and swapped in a freshly built Elocker rear end with 4.56 gears. Still breaking them in.. I want to go wheeling!

I've since broken in my new gears, installed a 4.56 TruTrac setup in the front, and wheeled it! Haven't wired up the rear locker yet but the TrueTrac alone made a noticeable difference climbing steep rocky terrain. It does understeer a bit when you get on the gas, but its not an issue when you're in the low gears anyway. Overall I am very pleased with it.

Some pics from this weekend in Tahoe:

Sooo...I called Eaton this morning. The truetrac support guy said that they won't be building a ADD specific locker. All the 7.5" truetrac's are for manual hubs ONLY.

    Poooooop:(

Looks like an ARB it is!

Thanks!! This was Buck Lake Trail 14N40 off the Tahoe side of the Rubicon.

I think at this late in the 1st gen's life it isn't worth the investment on their end to develop an ADD compatible model. Bummer, but ARB is a better solution anyway.

    Thanks!
