    SOLD!!! :(

After being on here for over a year and figuring which way I wanted to take my truck, I'm finally making a build thread of my Black 1995 Toyota Tacoma LX Extended Cab 4x4. Bought it in January 2012 with 234,000 miles on the body. Previous owner put in an engine from 2010 Tacoma with approx. 24,000 miles.

When I first joined, Blackdawg's build was the inspiration for mine. And with the help of Michael (bellassaiw10) and some other local TW members on some of my mods, here is my build.

    1st real mod - Flowmaster 40 series w/ 3.5" tips (sounds great)

    Next was window tint
    [IMG]

Then I threw on some Bilstein 5100s set to top setting
    [IMG]

Another new set of wheels and tires - 15x8 Pacers w/ 32x11.50 BFGs (1.5" wheel spacers)

Then added some flares from bellassaiw10
    [IMG]

Found out I needed to get some new leafs soon
    [IMG]

Next mod was some 10k HIDs in new housings and removed pinstripe
    [IMG]

Drove it like this for a few months and toted my dog around and took it on some wheeling trips
    [IMG]

Next thing I did was put some Derped 2nd Gen badges on from another member and put a new rear bumper on. Also cut exhaust after muffler
    [IMG]

    Picked up some new lights
    [IMG]

Got my first set of retros in with Michael's help

Then I finally got my lift together - Eibachs and OMD Springs. With the help of Paul (Backwoods Taco) and his shop, I was able to get it on
    [IMG]

Then I had to take tint off for inspection. Right after it, I re-tinted and tinted the windshield 40% with 5% brow
    [IMG]

Then I changed the wheels and tires yet again. This time I went with FJ Trail Teams w/ 285/75/16 BFG KM2s
    [IMG]
    Also Derped the hood
    [IMG]

Then I finally pulled the trigger on a plate bumper. Went with a Relentless Fabrication DIY Kit. Great product and worth the money

I love the way my truck looks, it's came a long way! Thanks for looking at my build and don't hesitate to ask any questions you might have. Have plans for mods in the near future so check in to see my rig

How is the plastidip holding up on the handles? I'm thinking of doing mine but have concerns about durability.

Good to hear. I am doing a complete dechrome. I will do them when I do the mirrors and badges. I already did the front end. I wonder how the rear bumper will wear.

Every time I do something I tell myself to take pictures of the progress so I could start a build thread but I get so caught up in doing what I'm doing that I never take the damn pics. :D

I completely understand. I wanted a build thread for the longest time but dreaded taking the time to piece it all together
