have had the new tires on for a couple weeks now and got to test them out a bit yesterday, they feel great so far looking forward to throwing them in some snow pretty soon here

they do rub on the fenders/wheel wells a good amount though, quite a bit on the rears which surprised me but i think i remember reading with the OME kit that the rear axle gets moved forward a bit.. have to look more into that, but it works ok for now

i also bought some used hella 500ff converted to HID lamps that i am going to mount to the front bumper. was thinking pretty hard about swapping out the ARB front bumper for a trail gear low-profile tube bumper but am still undecided on it...

i've never aired down my wheels before but came across this smittybuilt 10lb CO2 tank setup, never been filled/used before, for only $80. can use it for portable air tools and all that too. seemed like a pretty good deal to me?

Any further thoughts on the bumper swap. I've been debating an ARB, but on the other hand, the tube bumpers are pretty slick. It'd match the rest of your truck.

yeah i'm still on the fence whether the bumper swap is worth the effort. there's nothing wrong with the ARB i have now but i do like the look/simplicity of the low profile tube bumpers. i talked to a local shop here and after shipping+markup i can walk out the door with a trail gear lo-profile front bumper for $670, and i figure i could sell the ARB used for maybe around $800 or so, then could use the leftover cash to pitch towards other mods/maintenance items. i won't be changing it anytime soon, still playing with the idea though

this past weekend i put a hose clamp on an exhaust heat shield that was rattling. also took the drivers side interior door panel off to repair a metal arm for the door latch handle, it was bent and pressed against the window glass so it made a nails-on-chalkboard sound everytime rolling up/down the window. nice and quiet on the inside now! sometimes the little things make the biggest difference hah.

this past weekend i installed four new speakers that i got for christmas that are all wired up through a rockford fosgate 400W 4 channel amp, sounds pretty good now. I also installed NGK spark plugs and wires and an OEM fuel filter. I also busted out the die grinder and trimmed the rear wheel wells a bit, i need to do this to the fronts still though.

the ultragauge i ordered came in the mail as well and i made a custom mount for it into the dashboard to the left of/behind the steering wheel. i still have to paint it black but it's a little too cold outside for that yet

went out with a local group last saturday and had a blast. the weather we've been having lately is unreal, +15 celsius in January?! made for some pretty slippery hills

also since i built a custom box for a 10" sub that fits right behind the drivers seat i also made a platform for storage space/ a perch for my dog in the back

Haven't updated this in a long while, since the last post I installed some hella 500ff hid converted off road lights, a pair of 1998 4runner front seats, and just picked up a warn m8000 that I will eventually get around to installing. For the most part I've just been driving/wheeling and enjoying it, I'll post some pictures on here eventually

almost forgot i mounted my hi lift to the back of my toolbox as well

Thanks man. Haven't updated this for a long time, for maintenance items I put in camburg front coilovers, new steering rack bushings, new clutch+bearings, some new Napa CV axles, replaced the tundra front hard brake lines for the wheeler banjo fittings for clearance with the new front suspension, replaced the PS pump, put the stock taillights on instead of the led ones, and probably some other things I can't remember.

The ARB bumper was great, super solid and tons of protection, but I traded it out for a trail gear tube bumper which I am really happy with so far. I also threw a warn m8000 winch in it and rewired my front turn signals into the corner marker lights.

This truck has been awesome, haven't been able to go wheeling in it for a couple months but I'm planning on catching up on it this fall.
