Finally....took out my nasty drop in bed liner and did the DIY Al's bed liner spray...Turned out better than I thought considering it wasn't an easy spray job....Put some rubber crumb for the rough non slip look and feel. Had to scuff the whole bed and clean it.

Nice bed spray, I will be doing that come summer. You used 2 galloons though? Isn't 1 galloon recommended?

One gallon was recommended, but after loading that one gallon in thier awkward hopper you only have about a 15 minute pot life. I was not use to the gun so I started sprayingwhat I thought was a resonable coat and by the time I got towards the back of the bed I had some thin spots. Let it cure for a day or two.... tthen cam back and covered thin spots as well as layed thicker coat on wheel wells and tailgate. Much happier with the out come from two coats. I also added the rubber crumb to mine which I thought was harder to spray. Good luck with yours..

I will check it out...Best looking grill I have seen. I wanted to go 35's but also worried about not having enough power. Like you said it does good anyway....Will be going back to purple in a few months, just had to try out this plasti derp thing to switch it up a bit..Still like the purple because its different

Matte black is probally easiest way to go...almost went matte black on mine, but changed my mind at last minute. Definately use the DYC sprayer it worked great laying down the right product each coat. Dipyourcar youtube channel has two good videos on the sprayer itself .(a must watch before spray) After each coat you have to wipe excess dip off the threads and check a few things to make sure it is spraying evenly. Easy job if you take your time to tape off good and use fonzies technique.
