Nice, I used to have one just like it, albeit 89 and not in anywhere near the condition of your finished product. Good work!

It was a lot of work. I just wanted to do the body work back to all metal and ended up doing brake lines, fuel lines, all new brakes, speedo cable, brake cable, fuel sending unit, new windshield, upper and lower control arm bushing, torsion bar adjuster bolts, exhaust, shocks, rear springs, sand blasted frame, Rhino Lining with uv top coat, front and rear bumpers with brackets, headlights, taillights, switched the cab over from my 91 Toyota 2 wheel drive because it was in mint shape which involved changing out the dash and cutting out the roof to install the sunroof. original cab was toast as you can see in the pics. To get it to 100% I still have to do the interior carpet and seats. Maybe next year. Also thinking of putting in a turbo diesel. I don't know, it's a lot of money, hum and haw. You guys could talk me in or out of it.

Cool truck. Nice work. I use to own a 93 toyota pickup sr5 4wd that was in great shape. It's always been something I've regretted selling.

Now you got me at 51% in favor of switching to turbo diesel.

Thanks Chris for the compliment on my build. Would you have any pictures of that 93 Toyota that you used to have? I love looking at old Toyota pickups.

Unfortunately I don't have any pics of that truck. I wish I would have just kept it. That thing was a tank.

Dose anybody out there know anything about those softopper caps? I would like to get one for my new build. I don't want to put that old hard cap back on. Any input would be appreciated.

Very nice!! How do you like the soft topper? I've always liked the way they look.

I absolutely love those style Toyota trucks. Very well built.

Thanks, I love it. Wasn't sure how it would hold up this cold winter -20's but it had no problem.
Very light weight and heavy canvas with heavy duty zippers.

IMG_1001.jpgJust bought another 91 for restore. couldn't resist. My wife thinks I'm retarded.
The frame is a little rough but a lot of good parts and good running motor. $400.00
The tire are only 3k on them. Interior is mint.

Now that I got my 91 all restored, I went and picked up a 82 to restore with only 118000 km on it. I found it from a farmer that had it in a barn for 16 years. Its in pretty good shape and hasn't been butcherd at all.phone pics 517.jpg
