Update on how the Goodyear MTRs did:
They kicked AZZ!! I could not be happier with these tires, handled the terrain (mostly loose dirt, steep hill climbs, little mud) excellent, highway driving is good with little noise.
They are pricey but are very worthy as a hard hitting trail tire.

Here is one from BVORR, pretty good angle, but not as bad as the one you saw, I think the rear was about two feet off the ground!

I still get a smile whenever I mash the go pedal, definatly woke the 3.4 up! So far I've put around 1,500 miles worth of driving with the S/C and absolutely no problems (this is on the original 215,000 mile motor/trans). Max boost is right around 6.2 lbs, I only run 93 octane and there have not been any issues with detonation even with summer temps in the high 90*s low 100*s. The only complaint I have about the S/C is the slight "rattle" it has at idle, typical of a S/C and I have gotten use to it, but its the only complaint I have.

How's your truck holding up man? I'm still really interested in supercharging my truck but I don't have the means yet. I just hear lots of bad things about s/c's and I want to hear from someone that actually has one before I put one on.

We went wheeling together this past weekend, the SC is doing great. He made it up a hill that I couldn't.. all pedal. There is a video of it, and you can hear the Engine hitting the Rev limiter.. can't post it from work though..

look for it in this thread.. http://tacomaoffroad.com/threads/113-BVORR-in-August?p=11686&viewfull=1#post11686

How is the oil filter relocation kit working out? I am thinking of doing this real soon and was wondering if you have had any regrets since doing the mod? I have saw other posts where guys have taken them off due to leaks or a hose rupturing but they were the cheap rubber hoses. I think this will be a real improvement when changing the oil filter compared to stock...I get tired of cleaning up the oil. Also, what kind of sealant did you use when putting the fittings together?

hi everyone, i just got a used first gen trd supercharger as well. Considering i dont know much
about the supercharger what should i do to inspect. it spins ok maybe just a little play when you
turn the pulley. How do you know if bearings are good or bad or even if you need a rebuild.
