I have a 2002 PreRunner that I love but it doesnt have the rear locker and is just 4x2. Thinking about putting a Dana axel up front and a transfercase and a bunch of money to make it 4x4. I obvosily need some help and guideance on this matter.

x2. There's a lot to adding 4wd to a 2wd truck. Sounds like you'd be doing a solid axle up front also which means custom fabrication for the suspension and frame strengthening. $$$$, hope you got deep pockets if you go through with it.
