My 96 Taco build

This truck has been own by my grandfather since 2008 and I dreamed of owning it or another like it. then one Christmas, they surprised me with the truck title. I named her LaToya

New leaf pack and shackles (1" lift)

32x11.5 Cooper STTs
retrofitted headlights made by a fellow member

Future mods (not in order):

fog light mod
bucket seat/bench seat swap so I can get a center console
custom sub box
Switch the mirror tint windows for black ones

i installed 4 green LED bars all wired to come one when the radio comes on. But it has the option to turn them off when i dont want them on

I also have this switch that isn't hooked up to anything. so i might get some fogs and use this switch for it. If y'all have better ideas let me know.

bought me a tail gate light bar. but 3 red LEDs are out so they are shipping me another. ill get a better picture at night

i dont think this is the right way to deal with excess wire but i didnt know what to do with it

update finally! ive got some new leafs I need to install but I need new shackles as well. as soon as they come in, these are going on!

installed the rears. theres nothing wrong with them, the boot was just pushed down too far haha.



GAH! someone pulled a hit and run at school


this is repaired now and looks good as new! I also got another light bar so the all the lights are twinkling.

ive also ordered some new coils from a fellow member and plan on installing them with my bilsteins to level out my truck!

I took apart my instrument cluster and I noticed I had some bulbs in some spots that I never see light up. one is a gas light, which I don't know why it never lights up. and the other is a RR DIFF LOCKER which doesn't light up probably cause I don't have that. but here are pics

UPDATE: a few days ago I attempted the speedometer color change mod and completely failed so now my needles are clear and misshaped. so I went to the junk yard today, got some needles of a similar year camry, painted them blue THE RIGHT WAY and now currently waiting for my LED dash lights to come in. Don't know if the camry needles will fit but if not, ill just paint the crappy ones I have now.

 

Finally got around to white LED dash lights and I painted my needles blue! May may look as good as they should but I like it and I think it looks better than the ugly yellow/green combo!

 

Got these today from a fellow member! These should be going on pretty soon!
