    great for pre runner to 4x4 conversion or a trusty stand by.
    May or may not need rebuilt.
    I think this may also work with the 3.4, not sure.

    Was told it was out of a 2001 access cab. As far as the cell, i'm not sure. I have heard 2 different stories. One involves a $90 fix for the speed sensor or something. Is that what your talking about?

    no in the 2003-2004 2.7L they had a completely different transmission both for 2wd and 4wd so im shit outta luck on this one. i have found another one but its twice the price but i know it plug and play. if you can get this sorted out by 9:00am tommorow and let me know what i have to do to make it work ill buy cash money this weekend! i have the money to buy that right now and am goin to convert just want to make sure all i have to convert is the automatic trans ecu. this is an automatic transmission correct?

    Yea. Its auto, manual shift. I talked to a guy over on ttora about converting mine before I bought this one and I think he said he got his out of a 4runner, 2003 model. And all he had to do was a speed sensor fix. Let me see if I can find the link and email. I'm at work so i'll see what I can dig up.

    well i would have bought had i known this but i already purchase the other transmission. i could try to halt the transaction. do you know what year truck this trans and tranfer case cam outta? and is it rebuilt or just cleaned up a bit?

    According to the chart its not out of what he told me. He said it was a 2001 access cab but that doesn't jive with the chart.
