I bought a 2001 Tacoma from a friend 2 months ago. My thought was to make this a camping/caving truck. I took it on its first road trip last week (600miles 21mpg) and came to the conclusion that after 20 years of full sized trucks that I should stick to them.

    The truck is a 2001
    2.4 4 cyl
    82k miles
Frame was replaced under warranty recently
    4x4
    AC
    Automatic
    Factory CD player
    bucket seats
New Reese type hitch installed last week to hold bike rack.
Three sets of wheels and tires. New tacoma wheels and tires, procomp 31"s with wheels and the original factory wheels with good tires on them.

Truck has some minor front end damage when I bought it. I replaced the front bumper and marker lamp. Front right fender (pic) still has minor damage.

    Toytec kit installed Current configuration.
