FS: Fabtech Dirt Logic 2.5 Coilover from a 2000 Tacoma

I've got a set of Fabtech Dirt Logic 2.5" bodied coilovers for sale. Coilovers have less than a year on a fresh rebuild (less than 5K miles) and are in great mechanical shape. No leaks, upper and lower heims are tight and move without noise or binding. Coilovers function as they should.

As seen from pics, PO mutilated the spring collar a bit, but it doesn't affect the preload adjustment. When I had them rebuilt, they asked if I wanted to replace the collar, but it didn't affect functionality, so I said no. I'm not sure what spring this is, but I highly recommend this for a Tundra, Sequoia or a Tacoma/4Runner with heavy bumper and winch combo as the ride is pretty harsh on my otherwise stock v6 Tacoma.

Deal includes upper mounting bolts and washers. Uses OEM lower mounting hardware.

i had similar ones with the black coils while my friend with a tundra had ones for a tacoma so we swapped... main thing we noticed was tundra had longer black coils and the tacoma ones were shorter blue coils... cool design since the top plate works for both

 

It is a cool design, both on Toyota's end and Fabtech's. Speaking of which, would be interested in a Tundra brake upgrade as partial trade...

Ride height is set to about 3"-3.25" of lift on my Tacoma.

what could we do to make these more fit for a tacoma?

 

I think the preload was cranked too much which made them harsh. I didn't have a spanner and didn't want to booger up the spring collar anymore, so I just left them. I would have backed off the preload on them had I not found some nice, used (and $$$) Donahoe's.

So, for Tacoma applications: reduce preload and if that doesn't work, get a softer spring.
