I'm looking to buy a 3.4 liter engine for my 2000 tacoma

my 2000 taco v6 3.4liter 2wd blew a rod.

i am looking for a good engine with no damage with less than 100,000 miles on it.

a 4 runner engine would also work.

 

check your local pick a part or japanese truck dismatling yard.

at a yard in SoCal, you can find a 5VZ w/ ~90K for $800 & 90 day warranty.

 

small town in florida, not easy to come by, everyone puts a lot of miles on their vehicles. i'm looking at a re manufactured one on ebay.

pensacola florida. and thanks for car part website. from the forum some guys say buy local with the engine still in the vehicle so you know how many miles are on it. others say reman but then other say they don't always use toyota parts. it's one of those no win situations.
