    X2 on this one. If you are looking at making a flush mount one, get with me. I would like to go over some basic design specs I would be looking for.

    As for the mounting to the bed at the tailgate, are there any inner braces that go on the inside area of the tail light housing for strength? Off-roading can do some serious jerking with a 33 inch tire and I would hate to have it tear through the bed.

    I'm actually in the process of building a vertical tire carrier for a TW member right now, and will post up some pics in my build thread when it's finished. :thumbsup:

    As for additional bracing on the inside, that's definitely a good idea, and would be even better if it could be built off of a tube/plate rear bumper probably, like a swingout.
