Looking for 1st gen Cv axle and LF Hub Assembly

Snapped Cv axle it sheared off inside the LF hub.

-Looking for CV axle
-Looking for LF hub assembly

Looking for some used parts OEM would be nice but if people have any good suggestions for aftermarket for both parts. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Let me know what you have

Thanks!!

I would suggest going to a wrecking yard to see what you can find as far as the hub assembly. That way you can buy the entire spindle. It will be cheaper most likely. Those hubs are $260 at the dealer (I have priced/sold them before) and then you will still need to get a bearing and get it all pressed in.

Hey thanks for the reply, yea I have called a couple yards and a buddy searched LKQ and there is nothing around FL. 1st gen 4wd parts prove to be hard to come by lol. I know a couple guys on TW make hubs for around $200. People seem to like the quality from what I've read.

I am one of those, but those hub assemblies are for the 2nd gen. When you are wanting a 1st gen, then you have some hunting to do.

Yea nice ha noticed that after I posted lol say your sig. Do you know of anyone who makes the 1st gen hubs? Is there that much of a difference between 1st gen and 2nd gen that no one is making them? Or is the demand just much lower with the 1st gens?

There is a HUGE difference between the 1st and 2nd gen hubs. You can't make them for the 1st gen because the bearing is pressed directly into the spindle on a 1st gen, but the 2nd gen have a bolt on system. No conversion methods either.
