I have the goldish one. No problems since the day I installed mine back in January. Possibly a short in your line somewhere? I've experienced a kink in some wires and even the thinnest spot along the wire caused a short because the electricity jumped from the wire to bare metal. Obviously I don't know your case. Trace all the wires.

 

I wonder what makes them do that. I've never encountered that problem. I've tried pretty much all the ballasts that are available to me. Cheap to Denso. Have you done a retro and sold them and the customer had a problem?

 

Probably the amount of power a ballast produces has something to do with it but who knows what actually causes it

Nooby question but is there a way that you can adjust the lights so there even? (So there isnt like a zig-zag middle?

 

there is a reason there is a zig zag. but i guess if you wanted you could just use a straight cutoff plate.

No its just that i like a nice clean line (slight ocd here) is that something that i could adjust if i bought the lights from you?

 

X2 and the amount of light you'd effect trying to get just a straight line... The step is one of th best part about projectors honestly haha

I would like to have a set of 01-04 lights fitted with the fxr's if you're still up for it
