Would you mind answering some questions about a retrofit? I contacted you a while back about getting mine done. I've decided to do mine because I need the experience when my dad and gf want theirs done. I just had a few questions.

 

I have been considering upgrading to projectors but have neither the time nor the expertise to do it myself.

How does this work. Do I supply you with all the upgrade parts and headlight housings or do you have all access to all of that and I just pay you for a completed set to replace what I have in their now?

 

Im doing another set of retros. Will be my 3rd. I've done blue and red demon eyes on my first two just by painting internal parts but how do you put an led in it?

 

My friend put a green LED in his. He drilled a hole in the reflector bowl! The part that shines when you activate your brights and just aim it towards the front lens or so...? I don't remember exactly. He is stationed in Japan right now so it's pretty much impossible to contact him.

So what would be the total price for fxr's with led halos and red demon eyes installed?

 

I say get a few pairs of lights and do it that way. It gets rid of the hassle of finding the right lights with the right sealant and whatnot.

 

Tide country? Sounds way too far from socal.

 

This something I might be interested in. I'd like to see some solid cost estimates before I can commit for sure.

 

I promise you, you'll never want another car with reflector beams...well not for long anyways. I had HID's in my reflectors since pretty much day one. I had great ballasts and a good bulb, no stray light anywhere. And it was 4300k so it was as much light as I could get from two headlights. Then I did my retrofit...worlds of difference. You'll be glad you invested in a pair. I highly recommend ThunderOne as he inspired me to do mine without even realizing it.

IMO that isn't expensive at all for paying somebody to do the work for you! I spent about $350 just in parts for mine!

Anybody not wanting to do the work themselves but has the money I highly recommend this guy as long as he does good work

 

Damn good price for new headlights AND all the testing done?!? That's an awesome deal! Like I said before, THIS guy is worth doing your headlights for you if you can't do it yourself.
